I've heard Sakic is most similar but other peeps said Crosby was. Also, if there is an ABS version of it, that would be ideal, but not necessary.
Crosby's stick blade is nearly flat if it isn't 100% flat.

Jagr Blade....Go Here:
http://www.hockeygiant.com/kohblad2100sr.html

I can personally vouch for that site.

ABS Plus blade - superior resistance and durability
C21 pattern is also called PP38 Jagr

Off the top of my head....Regehr's blade is pretty much a non-existent curve....at least when I saw one in the shop.

Like the Rangers 85th anniversary alternate. I have been looking for an authentic one for a while, they are in short supply.

My 92 authentic looks great but is getting long in the tooth.

Thanks. Used that site, and it's an ABS Jagr blade . If it is the exact blade I was looking for I will order a few more.

From what I read from modsquadhockey.com It's a p38 Datsyuk CCM/RBK.

Moog-Type-S... Retail Crosby is nothing like a pro stock Crosby. RBK/CCM just sticks his name on the stick. Pretty much no retail curve is used by the associated pro.

I'd like one of the resident Penguin fanboys to chime in. I swear I remember hearing somewhere that Crosby's stick was nearly flat and was one of the reasons he was so deadly on both sides of the stick.

This is from a 2 year old post. I've heard he recently tried a sliiiiiiight curve on his stick.

You can probably go to gettyimages.com and search through photos for a recent one, but I'm positive that he wouldn't use his retail stick. That picture from Moogs post even states that the Crosby is the same as an Ovechkin curve...

Ovechkin prostock...

It use to be flat.. Two years ago he went to a similar curve in the pics above and has been scoring goals since.

Well here are very recent shots off of gettyimages... Pros just don't use their retail sticks. Retail sticks are just branded with players name and have nothing to do with what they actually use. I think when they state similar curves are Ovechkins... That should be a dead give away that name has nothing to do with the curve they actually use.

Hard to tell by the pic if that's the exact curve. But yea I played inline hockey forever... played a little ice back in the day. Want to start playing again but will prolly play more inline ala the ABS blade.

And my backhand is pretty good actually

That one looks reasonable. Previous versions were pretty much flat.

Those pictures are all within a month old..... It's a straight blade. The only reason that one looks reasonable is because of the angle. I'd like to see a picture of him using a p87a stick...

I'm sure he used to take a torch to his factory blades and flatten them....ie heat 'em up stick 'em under a door and bend them.

Many players modify their factory blades.

All Star Game Captains Selected

TORONTO - The NHL's all-star teams will be selected by Eric Staal and Nicklas Lidstrom.

They have been named captains for the Jan. 30 game at RBC Center in Raleigh and will lead teams carrying their name.

Decent choices.

Surprised and yet, not really surprised about Staal since he is from the host city...

Was at the game and unfortunately your Wingdings did not win. although they completely dominated the Pens in the third period and a decent amount of the second.

Media around here is making a big deal about Crosby speaking out against head shots now that he's concussed.

Where the fawk was he when everyone else was getting put out and when his own team mate took a cheap shot on Savard?

Crosby should STFU about it. He had his chance.

That must have not made it out of Pittsburgh. And if he did say something he was nowhere near as vocal as he is now.

Not really signaling him out. Every player should speak up. But Crosby has to realize (and now maybe does) that his voice carries more weight than others.

If him, Ovi, Toews, Stamkos, Phaneuf (lol) and other big stars all spoke up. Maybe the NHL would get off their asses and do something about it.
