went to Blackhawk game tonight. Controlled the Av's from the 1st puck drop.

When I was debating between the '08 and '09 TL (didn't mind the 4th gen design) I actually brought my hockey bag and tried to access the trunk. Couldn't get my iTech bag into the 4th Gen. Salesman said that they were targeting the golfing crowd, not the hockey crowd.
'08 TL fits my hockey bag and my son's bag.

LEAFS' WILSON VIOLATES LEAGUE RULES WITH CASH INCENTIVE

Ron Wilson's landmark 600th win against his former team may leave a bitter taste in his mouth.

According to a report in the Toronto Star, the Maple Leafs head coach posted an undisclosed amount of cash in the locker room prior to Tuesday's contest as extra incentive for his team to beat the Sharks.

The NHL has said that league rules were violated and, while it isn't viewed as a significant offence, the Leafs will be fined.

"If it is a violation, we will remedy it with the league," GM Brian Burke told the Star. "We'll take the money back, do whatever the league tells us to do. We have not heard anything from the National Hockey League."

Traditionally, players will post cash to a new teammate to score the winning goal when he meets his former team.

The Maple Leafs gave Wilson his benchmark victory by beating the Sharks 4-2, a game that featured a four-goal third-period rally.

So the VP of Hockey Ops can go around making sure his son isn't wronged by the refs but god forbid a coach greases a players palms with what's likely dinner money. Way to get your priorities straight Count.

His thread was about the hockey bag. Perfectly fine.

Too bad he's a Hawks fan though. Yumchah = 20 annoying Hawk fans so we really didn't need more.

Of course I'm sure srika will make his way back here once the playoffs start.

I understand now what you are saying.....another Hawks fan FTL.

When I'm thirsty sometimes I drink Gatorade.
I'm not sure which is my favorite flavor.
I usually drink grape when I play late night hockey games.

That's odd indeed. I heard the guys (Bob Beers being one of them) on the B's post game talking about this earlier in the season when we faced the Panthers where Nathan Horton came from. The conversation was all about how much money he had put up to who ever got the game winner. They basically said it was standard operating procedure throughout the league within the locker rooms for these cash incentives when facing former teams.

This isn't college sports, they are "professional athletes", why is it wrong to pay them. I could see a problem if there was a cash incentive for a crushing hit or getting into a fight but paying players to score goals seems like the point of all pro sports.

Fawk...only 20?!?

I need to up the efforts...I haven't even started on Hawks prospects. I should go rant about who's a BEAST in the pipeline too, huh?

Going to Kings V Blues tonight at Staples.....so you know what that means: The Blues are gonna get the W.

I found that on my old CL-S, my hockey sticks fit well in the armrest Ski-pass-thru.
However, I wish that the CL-S had fold down rear seats.

From CNNSI...

Turnabout is fair play. A week ago the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins in a shootout, 2-1, which ended when Carey Price stopped Chris Kunitz in the fifth round of the shootout. To celebrate, Price instantly stood up, folded his arms, and struck a celebratory pose. (It wasn't the first time he's done it, as he made a different pose after winning a shootout against Tampa Bay two years ago.) ... Following Wednesday's rematch in Montreal, a 5-2 Penguins win that saw them go 4-for-6 on the man advantage, Fleury took advantage of the opportunity to return the favor to Price and the Canadiens by standing in his crease and striking the exact same pose after the final horn sounded.

It seems like the Blackhawks are developing a rep of developing rookie goaltenders that can carry the team between the pipes.

^ Well, since you're the stats monkey, Waldorf...the odds were pretty good since the Blues have taken the last 5 of 6 from the Kings.

Make it 6 of the last 7 now.

But, there was Willie. So, it should've been a "balance". I would've bet on a shootout.

A mother shark, father shark and baby shark are in court to decide who gets custody of the baby shark.

The judge says, "I award custody to the father shark."

Baby shark exclaims, "NOOOO!"

The judge says, "why don't you want to live w/ your father?"

The baby shark say, "my father beats me."

Judge replies, "okay, you will live w/ your mother shark."

The baby shark, even louder this time says, "NOOOO she beats me even more!"

The judge is now perplexed and thinks for a minute and finally says, "okay then baby shark, I award custody to the San Jose Sharks, they can't beat anyone lately!"

Serious. I know them in their white and silvers as well as their purples and blacks.

Even the gold and purple. Just not the scheme they were wearing against Edmonton.

For those of you that play hockey, anybody know where I can get a Jagr replacement blade? I've searched local hockey stores and even online everywhere but can't seem to find one. The Koho 6800 Jagr blade is the best I've used to my memory but I can't find a replacement for it (yes I know Reebok fucks bought Koho); or at least find the most similar blade to it. I've heard Sakic is most similar but other peeps said Crosby was. Also, if there is an ABS version of it, that would be ideal, but not necessary.

^ Hmmm not the same exact blade but no problemo, I think they discontinued the blade; I might have to try one of those out. Do you know if those are legit/safe sites?
