In hindsight, I think the time-out called by Canada was too little too late. It should've been called when the score was 3-2.

There's a lot of hindsight to go around. The simple fact is they stopped playing in the middle of the second and the Russians stepped up. If they had maintained even a decent level of play they would have won the game. It was a choke by all involved, coaches and players equally.

Tournaments are a bitch. I remember back when I played house league. Our team was terrible. I think we won 5 games all year. Went to a tourney at the end and won the whole thing against far better teams. No idea how it happened but it did.
