^^ Did the Canes pick the :ghey: or did the NHL pick the :ghey:.

This is the best the NHL could pull for the National Anthems?!?!

If the game was in Canada we could of at least had the Crash Test Dummies.....that would be an improvement.

Moogs, I'm beginning to suspect you have developed a crush on Celine, eat Poutine, and secretly wish you weren't from Irvine.

Ouch, he needs to step away and really think if he needs to play any longer. If he thinks he stills wants to play, I'd skip next year as well.

He's a high risk guy too, he may not be the toughest but he never seems afraid to crash into the boards if something goes wrong. If he continues to play he really would need to change his game quite a lot to try to protect his head from impact.

Saw the most recent hit that took out Savard. Does that hit really need to be made?

Glad he signed the big contract before these problems began. At least he'll be well looked after.

The odd coincidence around it would be that it was Matt Hunwick who took him out. The B's traded Matt Hunwick away to Colorado Nov 29th 2010 to clear cap space for Savard to return to the line up.

What would've been ironic was if Savard sent Cooke to another orbit.

Like clockwork, the Devils are on a roll with Lemaire back at the helm.

Got a Hawks game to go to in 2 weeks.

And then, one last one in April at the United Center to watch them take on the Brown Things...

Moog if you want to see the kings win a game, you should get tix to see them when the B's are in town. Quick is now 5-0 against them and they have always had very hard time playing in Cali on these short west coast road trips. I think the late start time (vs their internal east coast clocks) kills them.

Congrats to the Flyers - first expansion team to win 1000 games on their home ice! We are certainly looking and playing good going into the break.

Watched them versus Chicago on Sunday...and I'd say the Flyers are the best team I've seen so far this season. Tremendous forecheck and they now have a 3rd pairing D that is as good as anyone.

And they have a very solid 4th line now too.

My pick to go to the Cup this year.

Well, they look to be the favorites to go back to the Finals and probably win it all this year...

How is that being ...? I'm not picking Vancouver and they have a nice record.

Just saying, you must not have spent much time debating your pick Frankly, I think anything can happen in the playoffs, as proved by the habs last year

Um, I know as well as you do that the playoffs are a crapshoot and anything can happen.

But, just seeing what I saw from the Flyers, they look bloody scary esp. if they sustain that level of play in the playoffs.

Not trying to diss your team since I know you hate Philly...Just pointing out they have some depth that few teams can match.

I totally forgot about that epic argument. Looking back on it, it's pure gold! I mean how often is Yummy right? once a year?
