and presto. Sorry danny, but after mentioning the idea, I really wanted to do it.

It's big and I kinda messed up on the drivers side front tire, but oh well. When the image is sized down you wouldn't notice it as much.

You have to put the avatar image on some webserver somewhere and in you profile, you have to give the link to that file. It's like the IMG code in a post. I use my work's webserver for a lot. shhh!

Thanks Casper, I'll have to see how that looks as an avatar when I get home.

Speaking of avatars, could some one do me a favor? I was trying to change mine the other day, but everytime I try this pops up in the next window: " vBulletin Message
The uploaded file is not a valid GIF or JPG file. Please ensure that it is and try again. "
Even if I use the url for the avatar I'm already using, that message pops up. WTF?? Obviously some people are able to update their avatar, Casper just did, Shawn changes his daily. So the favor... could some one try to change their avatar to this: http://students.uta.edu/da/dap3898/mstor/avatar.jpg and see if it works for you?
Thanks.

Actually all I did was create a new avatar then give it the same filename and replace the file. Cheating, but it worked, plus i'm lazy, so I didn't have to go update my profile or what not.

Sorry.

Inferno,
I've seen the OZ Superleggera on a CL ( I think the Comptech CL has them actually) and they look pretty good. But those Kosei K-1 Racing in white might look pretty sporty. Do you have a nice side shot of your car, or another white TL, if so I'll attempt a PS job for you to see what the wheels would look like.
The tire rack has that page that lets you sub wheels but it is hard to get a good idea.

How about this shot?

Thanks, Danny!

Yeah, this one that I've had for a while still works, but I can't change it to anything else. Even if I put in the url for the avatar I'm using now, it tells me it's not valid, when obviously it is cause I'm using it. I think it may just be a problem with the place they're hosted at. That's why if you try it and it doesn't work for you either, than it's gotta be the host's problem.

Here ya go Inferno. Sorry the wheels obviously look PSed, I don't know how to make them match better. Also I made them the exact same size as your TLS wheels so they look like 17s. If you want them bigger let me know.

I used the white wheel, didn't know which you wanted.

Well about the avatar thing, I just changed the name of the new avatar to the name of the old one that was actually working, and now this one works. I guess in the future that's how I'm gonna have to do it, because with any other url i put in the avatar box, I'm told it's not valid.

No wonder I like the first one better..... it's a subtle addition, but when it's pointed out it's incredible.

It's the entire ghetto package.... dark ass tint and rims.... gotta love it

I noticed that...

props to me!

Now that I think about it (i've been stupid due to lack of sleep the past couple of days) I remember trying to change mine as well and getting the same message. Oh well, changing the name works perfectly!

Looks good danny!

Actually I just changed it a minute ago, after you posted which one you liked. I uploaded it with the same name so I wouldn't have to edit the post.

I really like the Superleggera's. Very classy. They look sweet...

The Kosei's don't do it in white, nor do I think they would look good in silver. But the would be perfect for my White CRX...

Thanks, Danny, this really helps.

That is my soccer teams "logo" (one of the guys designed it for the team!). I had never thought to put it up until you started talking about aviators and it just came to me to shrink it and go for it.

I bet I could send it (the original full size one) to you or Mantis and either of you could make it into a cleaner aviator with all your skills on the 'puter...right now it looks a little rough.

I don't have photoshop. I was wondering how everyone had all those crisp images and all I could get was a 16 color image...

Damn 3.0 CL

Ok, I really didn't want to tell this sad story, but I must do the right thing.

So, Tuesday night (1/14), DuckBlue and I are chillin and decide to go get some tofu egg rolls (yummm. sooo good + cheap!). So we get there and first of all there is this beautiful GS300 with a kit, but this isn't the point of the story. That don't have any egg rolls, so we leave and get back on Jupiter headed north from Walnut (caddy-corner from IDP). So, we're just cruisin along when I spot this 3.0 CL with blue headlights. Of course, my aggressive driving self decides to challenge him. Now, for some reason, DuckBlue thinks it's a 2.3 so he's a little shocked later. I pull up next to him, drop to Neutral and rev him. Now, the coolest thing happens, and we pull up to a light .

So finally the light turns green and he gets the jump on me. I have really bad take offs and really need to work on it. Of course, it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I have absolutely no traction on my front tires. So we're going and I catch up to him, but the crappy part was that I couldn't pull on him! I couldn't believe it, this little 3.0 CL is staying with me! I'm goin nuts. Of course, by this point we hit around 80 coming up fast on Buckingham, so we stop and he turns into a gas station and I couldn't make it. Now DuckBlue is laughing his ass off! "You couldn't shake a 2.3!" Later I confirmed he was wrong, but still.

So that's my sad story. A 1st gen 3.0L CL didn't let me kick his butt. :'(

Oh well.

I don't know much about the 1st gen CLs, but that 3.0 has 200 hp, so that's pretty evenly matched with your car stock for stock. Maybe he had some more mods too, since he had the blue lights, that always a clue.

True, true.

That's what I was thinkin. DuckBlue got bored last night and went and compared our cars on Edmunds last night.

Hp: me = 190 | him = 200
weight: me = 3000 | him = 32xx (of course add me and DuckBlue and he was a little viet dude)

so i'm hoping he had a few more mods, or i'm really depressed about my car. of course, just on design alone, they are much more aerodynamic cars, but i'm not sure exactly how much that matters. maybe i should go take a look in the kill section and see if he is on the forums

you probably woulda beat him up pretty good, Casper...I'd guess his _only_ mod was those blue lights.
