Now THAT would be pimp to see. If someone could actually fit 22 in wheels on a TL, that would be freakin CRAZY!!!!!

sounded funny to me- dunno if anyone else thought the same way, but i think he meant we "came across" an E55 and not literally "running into" one.. imagine my dismay if i did.. and my insurance

Better, but still there a little. The chips in the front end paint are what are bothering me. Black car with chips + Wax = Not a good mix.
You installed an alarm with remote start by yourself? Good job, how much did that cost?
Well, like everything else I do, I got a deal on it, but retail on this particular unit was 299.00, and then 39.99 for the imbolizer bypass module.

IT was time consuming, but I used to do car security, video and audio for MobileOne AutoSoundout of New Orleans about 7-8 years ago. It's liek riding a bike, and since I am around electronics all day, it's not a hard thing to do, just tedious.

Yeah but even still I'd be a little cautious. Spoke design and offset can still get in the way.

I would hate to have to fo through all the crap to find out they don't fit. Do you already have the wheels?

Bah, every time I see a meet up of some kind it's in north dallas/plano/richardson/etc.

I think it would benift the DFW people to keep stuff like this central like grapevine, or irving or something.

I am out on driving all the way up there for that

This is the whole deal: I don't want to buy 17" wheels if the brake kit won't fit but nobody seems to know for sure--which means the safe route is the 18" wheels. But I want 17s 'cause I'm that way. And I really want the Superleggeras, not some BBS or whatever that somebody else already has. How tough could this be to figure out, I ask myself? Surely there is a clearance figure out there--I just have to find the right info, right? I'm be damned if I am going to buy wheels I can't upgrade the brakes with.

All will be revealed when I tell OZ I won't buy their product until the give me the answer!!!

The Brembo 13" requires an 18" wheel. The 12.4" should be fine with a 17" wheel. Spoke clearance with the caliper is the issue here. You need 34-35 mm b/t the inside of the spoke and the outside of the caliper. Good luck! Either way your spare tire is useless in the front. If you get a flat in the front, you will need to move the rear to the front and put the spare on the rear OR call a flatbed and haul it to the tire shop.
And some good info has started to come in from on high...

mantis, a friend of mine was asking about Zaino, and it's been so long since i bought some that I forgot how the prices were thru that guy you know. Was it the list price but without tax and shipping? Also where does that guy live? I think we may head over there sometime soon and pick up some, let me know if you want any. Or anyone else here for that matter.
Thanx-

Here's the deal... its list price + tax, no shipping (pick up of course)...

He lives in Allen Texas... about 5 miles from Stonebriar Mall, off of 121. His name is Steve and his number is 972-743-9443. Let me know if / when you decide to go pick some up, or I can just pick up some stuff and give it to ya this weekend if you're in no hurry.

Let me know..

I was actually looking at that very muffler yesterday, but it wouldn't work well with the way my bumper is designed.

Very nice

I've never ridden in a TL/CL with sways. Some one needs to give me a ride and convince me.

You will love them--that and when you get some sticky tires...
