Jeff, you heading to sport compact nationals this weekend? My niece has a b-day party at D&Bs tomorrow from 2-4, so I can't make it.

Hey Mantis, you got a bad ass digi cam so i figured you might know some stuff about them. Know anything about the Canon PowerShot G2. I'm thinking about ordering one real soon.

The Canon G2 powershot is an excellent choice. I was about THAT close to buying it, actually, the only reason i didn't buy it is because best buy didn't have them in stock when I went out buy a camera. Of course I could have ordered it, but I have a serious problem with instant gratification. 
I definetly say go for the G2.
If ride quality isn't that big a deal to you, you will be much happier with coilovers vs springs. While I don't have tiens, I can't imagine them being too much different.

Ok, i ordered the G2 today. Found a really good price, but then afterwards i found out some bad info on the site i ordered from. Apparently a lot of people have had problems with them if they don't buy accesories to whatever they're ordering. They're told it's not in stock and have to wait a month or 2. This is after being told it was in stock too. 
I'll wait and see b4 i cancel my order, maybe i'll get lucky.

hey, all these dallas people here with CLS's and I dind't see a single one at HIN a few weeks ago. What's up with all that business? I figured lots of people on this forum would be at least moddin' up their cars for a show of that size (even though the whole thing was dissappointing). Anyways I was wondering if there were any local Dallas area meets coming up the next few weeks? We should all get together, I'd really like to learn more about what's otu there for this CLS and what I might want to get for mine. No plans for anything right now but that could possibly change soon as I see one all done up nice... just a suggestion for a meet sometime in the near future. PM or e-mail me if something comes up.

Hey Civic. a couple of us were at HIN a couple of weeks ago. We were there from about 4 - 8. We were parked on the first lvel of the garage.
Hopefully we can get a meet together pretty soon, cause its about that time.

civic, out of curiousity, why the sn "civic4982"?
and yes there were a few of us in attendance, yet none were showing. and to my recolection, there weren't many luxury cars at HIN except for the few Benzes and BMWs in car audio booths...

I'm thinkin' everybody go to the Go-Cart place next to Putt Putt near UTD off of Coit and Campbell in Richardson/Plano area @ 9 or so PM (not sure whta time they close so I'll have to check to be sure) would anyone be interested? I'd really like to see what's out there for the CLS... and I know there's some nice rides out of all you guys... whoever's up for it post a thumbs up... if a time change is needed lemme know... if not I'll set a solid date and time wednedsay night...

BTW, the civic got jacked and stripped back last february '01 right before I was gonna come and try to show @ '01 HIN Dallas...

I'm usually up for a meet whenever. I got a lot of time right now since school doesn't start for another week and a half. But I can't make it Fri. night, I gotta be at work at 7:30am Sat. Unfortunately if you're looking for mod ideas there aren't too many people around here that have very many. Mantis has the nicest CL I've seen around here with those 19"s and coilovers. All i have is... well look down...

A meet would be da shizzle. Not many meets in OK that I know of. If it's DEFINITELY on, I will try to clear the schedule and make the drive down to TX (as long as it's no farther south than DFW/Ennis).
