That is one huge impact--not like springs but so much more.
Nicely done, Chris.

Oh, and did I mention I am in driving heaven?
I spent yesterday driving north from Santa Barbara to Monteray on Hwy 1 on the California coast. This has got to be the greatest road in America. Posted switchback 15 MPH curves with huge on-camber banking and smooth asphalt and massive elevation changes. This is the same area that produced the corkscrew at Laguna Seca. The ocean is on one side and redwood trees on the other. It is out of this world. Plus I got lucky that they had a bunch of really bad storms the whole week before--and it only stopped raining the evening before I was there so there was almost NOBODY but me on the road. Normally there would be RVs and stuff going way too slow...
And I can say the Comptech springs and sways were worth every penny for the two hours I was on that streach of road. I have some photos but it cannot do it justice (plus I was not taking photos of the really good parts of the road--just driving with a big shit eating grin on my face!).
Happy Holidays, Inferno

I driven Laguna Seca hundreds of times... in GT3.
Inferno, you drove your TL all the way to CA? That is one long drive, my family and I drove to LA about 10 years ago, took us 24 hours of straight driving.

The drop will be 1.5" in the back and 1.3" in the front. It's a classy drop. Oh and I got my intake tonight. That's a project that will be taken care of in the next day or two.

I lost money, but everything was free, room, food etc.. so it all works out.

Heres my plan if there is any interest. Get out your maps of north Texas or go to Mapquest.Com and look around Chalk Mountain, Texas. Leave Grandbury ( just south of Ft. Worth) and go south on 377 to 51 south to Hill City/Glen Rose cut off. At Glen Rose take 67 South to 204 North to 2157 North to 51 North back to Grandbury. very hilly out there and should be a blast. We could meet in Grandbury and decide on some stoping place such as over looks and road side parks. Any one up for a drive? We should be out there today.

Bluesman, that cruise sounds fun. I remember that 51 road from one summer when I earned a little extra money driving an escort truck for mobile homes. I don't know how long that road is, but the part we took was very hilly and twisty, with some 180* sweeping turns uphill. I made sure to find out what road that was cause I knew then I wanted to go back and drive it again. But I've been too lazy up till now.
