I'm working on combining the videos I took to make a longer video witha little music and stuff. I'm a newb at video editing, but I think you'll like what you see once its up.
Great stuff Mantis! :too cool:

And a special thanks for capturing the Good Times!

I didn't put all the vids in there, (some were duplicates, like on the dyno day) let me know when you've picked it up so I can take it down.
Alright, man. I have the file in my possession. Remove it at will.

If I stay in tomorrow night, I'll get something done and contact you about posting it somewhere. From what I just saw real quick, we should have a pretty cool music video of the weekend with everyone's rides we have on video. I'll probably grab some of those JPG's and stick those in if we don't have video of them.

I know someone who's ready!!!

Good meeting you last weekend, ROOF. I wish we all had some more time to hang out and talk, but the loud Hooters and long lines kinda cut that short.

So how long was everyone at the dyno shop? How long did each car take? I wish I could have made it and met most of you in a more organized setting.

Is there another place to get the Amsoil, or is Fender the best place? I'm gonna send him a pm to see if I can get some from him, if not, I guess I'll settle for some mobile 1.

Fun Weekend

Mantis - Good Pics, thanks! Can't wait to see the vidio.

The dyno took about 30 min. when everything went smooth but they seemed to still be leaning the system. Oh well - It just gave us more time to talk.
Hey MrErous where did you get the hood prop and how come its not on your list of mods? :o

Ya know, that would be funnier if that really was my car :P .

That's Jeff's (MrEous) car. I gave him crap about it too. Mine is the Blue maxima in the pics. Hence the name BlueBOB on the Maxima forums .

Oh well, nice pics mantis. I'm downloadin the vidz now as well. My buddy has a Mac with Final Cut Pro 2 on it . For all you non-video editing people, that will blow Premier out of the water. For the next meet I will get him to bring his extremely expensive ENG style DV cam. He can then put it on a DVD for all of us! It gets even better because his production name is "Redline Films" and his slogan is "Pushing the Limits...."

Hey Ruf, I just remembered...you stole my pen! I forgot to get it back from you after you filled out that info sheet at the track. I guess I'll just get it at the next meet.

What pen? I don't know nothing about no stinking pen. :P

Yep, I have it, but it ran out of ink . . j/k.

I did look for you after the races, but Inferno and I were the only ones left. Actually, we were the last 2 cars to run.

Then I looked for you at the dynos, but no Danny. To top it off, no one there was close to you.

I can mail it to you, or we'll have to think of a reason to get together sooner.

Anyway, let me know and we'll work it out.

Ruf

Ruf, the pen's not a big deal, it's just that free Acura pen that came with my owner's manual. Don't worry about mailing it, I'll just get it at the next meet.

mantis, when you took off your mud guards did you notice any more dirt and water slung on your car than usual? Just wondering if they actually do any good, cause the car looks better without them imho.

I've noticed that you get more splash lower on the back part of your fenders without.

But I agree, they take away from the clean look.

I redid my mesh grille yesterday cause the stuff I used first was too flimsy and dented easily. I got some stuff that is about 2-3 times stiffer, it took a lot longer to do since it was harder material, but it's well worth it. It looks 10x better to me. I also took out the center chrome strip, I think that helps too. Pics later.
