It sucks seeing women driving a sports car that they will never use half the potential of. You could probably stick them in a civic hybrid and they wouldn't notice a difference in performance.

mantis, did i ever get those full res pics of your car to you? the one's from the twisty run? I was looking at my bros web space at UTA that I use and remembered those. I sent him up there to save them, but he said the web space was full, then I guess it slipped my mind after that. Shit, don't let my lazy ass forget that again. I'll get those to you this week.

Damn straight ... Texas got their horns shoved up their asses...

I went to OU my freshman year and have been a Sooner fan ever since. I had to sit on the UT side for the game. Almost threw down with this stupid drunk frat boy behind me. Talked shit the whole time, took my OU hat, and finally gave me a light shove a few times...

Woulda introduced his face to the bleachers but felons don't get into med schools... prick.

Anyways, Texas wasn't just classless off the field but also on it. So many personal fouls and blatant late hits like when that one OU guys got clothes lined when he had already stepped 5 steps into the end zone. All that face masking and pushing and shoving after the plays were over was pathetic. And then I saw two UT fans dukin' it out around the end zone lower deck seats. On top of that the pathetic supporters they had emptied out by midway through the 3rd quarter. About 50% of the UT fans had left before the game was even close to over.

FUCK TEXAS!

glad the Boys did better than the horns. I thought the game was gonna be real exciting after that first 3 second td. But the rest of the first half was kinda boring. But the second kept my attention. It was fun messing with all the eagles fans. At one time we had our whole area chanting "EA-GLES SUCK! EA-GLES SUCK!" It was great.

CT springs and tire wear

For you guys that have CT springs, is it normal for the front tires to wear on the insides? I had Vandergriff Acura do my alignment when I dropped my CL-S, and they eat thru the inside of the front tires unusually fast. Is this a camber adjustment problem?

Supposedly you don't need a camber adjustment with CT springs, but that sounds like a camber problem you're having. When I got my springs the guy that sold them to me said he was told he needed a Toe adjustment, but a camber wasn't necessary. Try taking it to an alignment shop and seeing what they recommend.

I've got an AM appt at Vandergriff tomorrow to have them look at it again. If they can't find a *problem*, I guess I'll have to take it to a specialist and have them adjust it correctly.

I took mine to Kirk's Tire Service for the alignment, and so far no unusual wear.

I pass Mansfield on I-20 on the way so it would be OK. I'm hoping Vandergriff fixes the problem at no charge. I don't feel like dropping more $$$ cuz they're too incompetent to get it right.

sounds like you will simply need another alignment as Danny mentioned. Let us know if they charge you for it or not, I'm curious.

I don't know how he can do that--I'm like "gotta drive" and making excuses to go places. I drive the TL-S to work and back Monday to Friday but all weekend, look out! Even drove down to San Antonio last weekend...

The camber should be within tolerances (+1.5 or something). This isn't enough to cause excessive wear if you rotate your tires. I haven't noticed a problem, and I beat my tires pretty badly.

The toe-in will be way off and needs to be adjusted. If that didn't get checked, then you will have a problem. Most places think that won't change but it does, big time.

If this is old news, sorry--just trying to catch up!

Guys, when I went down to San Antonio, I found the best road in Texas (so far, anyway): huge curves, tight curves, steep hills, curves on hills, curves in valleys, deep valleys, smooth asphalt, feels like a rollercoaster in the STi damn fine road.

You go from 35 to 281 from Georgetown to Marble Falls on FM 1431 (I think this is correct--I wrote it down on my map which is in the other room).
