FunkeeTown, sorry, I've been lucky enough to not have to deal with a cracked windshield yet.

I know this is late, but who caught the Cowboys game Mon. night? I know you did mantis. I was loving it till the Giants decided to come back. I got sooo pissed that the Cowboys let them come back, I knew the Giants were gonna win... then the Cowboys tie the game with 14 seconds left! And win it in OT! I'm glad I stayed up for that one, though I was dead at work yesterday.

That was great Monday night. I have to admit Quincy looked good most of the night. The defence did well untill they ran out of gas in the third quarter but held up in over time. I loved what it did to the NY fans. Talk about busting a bubble!

I saw the highlights on that game danny... It was an odd W but still a W I suppose. It's been a long time since I've heard about the cowboys wining.

Did any of you watch the UT v. Arkansas game?

Arkansas' O-line slammed it down Texas' throat. I'm not a big SEC fan, but they pounded them. IMO of course.

i saw two other cl's today parked at gold's gym in fort worth. One a gray cl-s with a 6 speed, exhaust and shaved acura emblem, plus red emblems on the front and back...the other a goldish clp with stock everything. Anyone on the board drive these cars? I was like...so does everyone drive an acura now or something...hehe.

no one I know FunkeeTown. I see a few CLs around me with some mods, usually wheels, but I guess they're just not into posting on these boards.

So what's the scoop for this weekend? Friday? Saturday? What time?

I need to know if I'm going to have a chance at working it in.

If it's Friday, I'm not going to free until after 7:30 the earliest. Probably by 8 though.

That sucks Civic. Why is it so hard to get people to be reliable? It seems we spend more tme waiting for people to do what they say they will do more than anything else.

bluesman: I know... it's such an annoyance. my friend Austin says his shit is on backorder but I called comptech today and they said they have the parts I ordered in stock. I don't know WTF is going on. I'll talk to him tonight to try to get things straight.

As for the stupid guy with the nitrous kit, he's just a f*in' douche bag. TWO WEEKS it's been ready for him to just go and pick up. I'm getting fed up with this. I have to wait 3 more weeks until I can make my claim with ebay. Little bitch is just stalling.

Well.. FUCK, they aren't having open night at the track tomorrow night. In fact, the next race night wont be until October 24th, and its a street night, so you know what that means... instant green, and the boards won't be on.

So danny, It looks like its the fun "faggy" ford thing going on all day tomorrow. I didn't realize it was down in Ennis.

Sorry I can't make Friday night. My girlfriend says she worries about becoming a car widow, but since I want to go for an early morning drive in the STi on Saturday AM, I need to spend quality time with my lady Friday night...

Have fun at Hooters or wherever you end up!

It has been raining a lot on Thursdays.

You won't believe it, but I left my windows cracked today and didn't remember until I got back to the TL-S and had standing water in the arm rests and the seats were soaked...

I toweled it out and left the windows down and the car in the garage to help it dry out. I know you never really get it back to normal, but I am going to hit it with leather conditioner once it dries out...

Damn....

8:30 would be better too . . . more time with the family . . less guilt.

We just need to pick a time and place . . . . so who's in so we can work on that . . .

That really sucks . . . just make sure you let it dry our good and remember that it's humid and will take a couple of days most likely

I'm in RUF!

Inferno: that sucks man, just towel and leave the windows down. get a hair dryer and go through there on cold blow to help get the water outta the cracks.

Don't let it get too humid in there or it'll rot the plushy stuff inth et seats if bacteria and shit start growing in there. My leather on my civic back then got wet b/c I left the sunroof cracked a bit, it was fine after a few days.

who was it that wanted Koni Yellows?

Austin told me he can get them ( the comptech ones) for $160 each. That is shipped. To get it without tax though you'll have to send it out of state to someone you know. Can't really flex on that b/c he doesn't want to get in trouble by the IRS.

that means you save $160.00 off of the comptech price and you just have to find a buddy in Oklahoma to take them for you.

oh yeah, and if I remember correctly Koni's have a lifetime warranty (or is it Tokico's) and they'll repressurize your shocks if they go out after a while.

i think my brakes are wearing out
it feels like it just doesnt have the "bite" it used to when i push down hard on the pedal. and no, its not just today in the rain- its been like this for about 2wks now

what do you guys suggest to buy as replacement pads
and maybe rotors to go with them?

acura w*rld has a groupbuy going on, but for some reason, i want to say the same axxis kevlars were much cheaper during the groupbuy on this acl forum back in april
and of course buying the kevlar pads would require rotor upgrades as well.

your thoughts?
