Anyone interested in trying it out?

Anyone know someone with a G35C? I'd like to get one down to the next track meet for some serious head-to-head racing.
If not, I may have to settle for a WRX or some other wannabe . . . oh sorry, I forgot Inferno's got one of those "little" cars.

Civic, Good luck on the job hunt.
Ruf, Good to hear from you. I would be interested in the oil change/internal lube.
I would like to go to the test drive also.
Mantis, I read that the N20 was working. Can you feel much differance? When do you get the car back from the shop?

I'll even give you good odds on a faster car like the Coupe or the 350Z because you haven't let me down yet.
I guess we could race with you in your big V6 car and me in my little four door Impreza I use to get groceries (once I get the engine broken-in, of course).
Not me, of course, but did I mention that someone who actually knows how to drive once got a all the way to the finish line in the stock STi? I can't remember what it said on the bottom of the slip but I can look it up...

Given the way RUF has been talking, it wouldn't surprise me if he failed to mention he got a SC or something...

And since I have so much brain fade from driving a slush box for the last two years, you are right, I may have a hard time getting close to text book numbers (for a while).

I just wish I had some bucks . . . I'd really jump on the 3.5 upgrade, extrude hone some parts and a few other small items . . should drop me in to the mid to upper 13's. Just fast enough to hang with a newer WRX . . unless the guy misses a launch or shift.

I'll be seeing 13s very soon... my headers and icebox come in in 3-5 days. Can't WAIT! Gonna have to have some garage time to put them in.
So that puts me at:
Comptech Springs, Icebox, Headers
Eibach Sways
Potenza S03s
and that's it I think for performance wise.
I'd better be hitting a 13.9x @100-102 or I'll be peeved.
The M5 spoiler looks good but I haven't gotten a good day for a picture yet... been sick lately.
Oh yeah and I upgraded my oil filter to a M1-105 oversize fit tonight. It screws in perfect and is about 20% bigger than the old M1-104 filter Iwas using (these are mobil 1 numbers). And running 5W30 Mobil 1 full synthetic for the past 15K miles now.

Hey RUF, I always ment to ask what your name "RUF" was for? I know there is the famous Porsche tuner RUF, but I always took you for a domestic or japanese car guy, not a german car guy. So what is the story?

Ah yes, that would be me. Ruf Alois I believe was his name. My first supercar love was the 1987 Ruf "Yellow Bird" 911 Turbo. I believe it was the first street production car "tuner" to go over 200MPH . . . 211MPH to be exact. Hense my Ruf87 name.
Bottom line is I love fast hot cars. However, there's a special place for American Muscle Cars.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARK!!!!
Her birthday is tomorrow, and yes, I will take her somewhere nice! She is getting a bunch of stuff that are all things she likes! Last year, she got a wine storage fridge, which was a BIG present. I hope this year isn't a let down from that...
What she really wants is a ring, I think...

Any of you guys interested in going to a small FREE car show tomorrow. There is a charitable car show being put on at the corner of 121 and 35E. Its in a parking lot. Registration is on site only $10.00. I just happend by it last year and they had about 90 cars. No trailer queens. All kinds of cars. If anyone is interested I will give more details and we can arrange A time to meet.
