Holy crap, I got filled with soo much adrenaline when I first read this post. Because I've been driving by the collision center at DMD, and I haven't seen my car out there for the past few days. It makes me wonder if they are joyriding in my shit.

If my speedo doesn't look right when I get the car back, I'm busting some ass.

what do you guys suggest to buy as replacement pads
and maybe rotors to go with them?

acura w*rld has a groupbuy going on, but for some reason, i want to say the same axxis kevlars were much cheaper during the groupbuy on this acl forum back in april
and of course buying the kevlar pads would require rotor upgrades as well.

your thoughts?
If you haven't gotten your brakes resurfaced for free yet at DMD acura, do it. They did mine at like 23K after I bitched about the brakes.

I was refering to it being up on blocks somewhere out back . . . sold the wheels right out from under you . . . :P

Seriously though, it makes you wonder sometimes what happens at some places . . the guys that originally did my tint took it to lunch or something . . I could have sworn it had about 21 more miles on it . . but didn't write it down. Lucky they didn't wreck it or something . . so from now on I recheck the miles before leaving it anywhere.

picked up the car, the speedo looked ok.

just about everybody in there seemed to know it had nitrous.
one of the managers came up to me and said,
"thats the car that has nitrous, right? I bet it hauls ass hunh?"

But I don't think anyone took it for a spin.

will that help? my steering wheel isnt vibrating or anything- it just feels like the car rolls forward more before it really grabs

last time i rotated my tires, i glanced at the brake pads
the rear ones were still very thick, but the fronts were harder to see because the calipers are bigger and block it

i just automatically assumed its cuz the front pads were wearing down

if it's not vibrating then still have them do the pads. it'll help prevent warping.

Sounds like you, Civic and I so far . . . ???

So where are you (Casper) going to be coming from . . . both Civic and I are in the Plano/Richardson area.

they replaced my pads for free too. so I guess if you can get them to do it, it won't hurt.

mantis: why pulleys? for only 10HP I think my $300 would be better spent towards a nitrous kit running a 75 shot.

Let's go to hooters by Central EXPY.

What do you guys think?

Actually, you may want to have that done at a shop. I'm going to do that because I'm going to run NEO coolant, which is not based on ethylene glycol, but something else. And of course I'll want the system completely flushed . . .

Yes I am. If I blow up the car, I have to get a new one. Fuck repairing a $3000 tranny out of my pocket when its just gonna blow again.

the pics came out so shitty bc I left the shutter open & had to keep it still for 2 secs.

Civic beat me every time. If I take out the 12s.. hes toast. :P

Some kids in a 75 shot Teg ran up on us. I raced one of his buddies a few nights ago in his 5 speed vigor. They saw civic and I hauling ass & busted a You-ie. We hooked up in the parking lot, bullshitted for 5 minutes. Then Civic & I proceeded to bust his ass both from a rolling start & from a standing stop.

I give the guy credit though, he was hanging in there, but his third gear was completly shot.

Most of the vids I have are complete shit. And the rest aer so so, no real reason to post them.

25 days till we can buy Casper a fucking drink LEGALLY.

Mark has nickel & dimed his way up the mod chain, & he hauls ass too.

Later fuckers.

o yeah, so it aws fun last night. came home and realized our Covad DSL has been down for 2 weeks and the f*ers haven't been able to fix it even though they came by last monday.

Fun night. I need to get my headers on and shit. Mantis gave me a real run for my money and I dunno how the hell Ruf is so fast! His wheels really make a HUGE difference. We should plan a track night.
