Apple: Hardware News and Discussion Thread
I'm fully invested in the Tile ecosystem at this point, it's their diversity of options that got me. I got the credit card one that goes in my wallet, the keysmart pro for my keys, and while it may take a little bit for my phone to find them they do work and have saved my ass a few times. I hope the Airtags launch with different shapes in sizes, the one size fits all tracker is kinda meh
New Apple TV 4K w HDR and high FPS

I'm interested in AirTags. I don't feel super inspired to trade in my M1 Mac mini, though. Thing is a little beast.
Interested to see when they replace the 27" iMac
Also iOS (iPadOS is really just iOS) is a hindrance on iPad.

As for battery life, Apple says that AirTags, thanks to their use of low-energy, and encrypted Bluetooth, feature more than a year of battery life. Once the battery does run out, it can easily be replaced since they use a CR2032 coin cell battery.
So do the AirTags use UWB instead of sound so that they're more "private"
That's cool I guess but echo location works pretty good for determining the exact distance of something
however if you're deaf or hard of hearing being able to find your keys or wallet using a Tile tracker probably doens't work well, UWB though will work. That's cool, thanks Apple!

I know it's not exactly that simple...but to me they could have made a 24" iPad Pro and attached a stand to it and it would be a lot more attractive than these iMacs. It must have been really imperative they have the chin and the large bezels.
Don't get me wrong, they are pretty cool and the iMac was due, but I just don't think I'm that impressed overall.

Curious to people here: Do people actually use their computer speakers? I do for now on my Mac mini, but I'm thinking about going with better speakers.

you feel for it
