Or they could’ve made the iMac slightly thicker to so the logic board can fit behind the display and reduce the size of the chin?
it’s a desktop computer. Thinness IMO isn’t imperative

I would have preferred the iMac have the old form factor only with a giant screen with no bezel or chin
I had some spare Tiles lying around so I put one on my bike and on my Onewheel in case they ever got stolen, I think an airtag would work great there. AirTags might work well to find a lost pet too.

OK this new Siri remote is legit it works with the last year and model. It’s like the first Apple TV remote and the second Apple TV remote had a baby and it has all the benefits of both and more.
The biggest thing that sucked about the second gen Apple TV remote besides the lack of power button or mute button was navigating long lists with just the trackpad. So if I was in the YouTube app and I wanted to go through my YouTube subscriptions of which there are 150+ subscriptions and I wanted to look at an account that starts with the letter S I would have to swipe repetitively on the trackpad over and over and over and over and over again for 10 to 20 seconds before it made it down to the S, now with this remote I can just click and hold on the down button to scroll long lists but I can still swipe around just like I could on the old remote if I want to four instances in which that’s better.
The Apple TV is the main device that I use connected to my TV for watching YouTube, Amazon prime, Hulu or listening to music on my stereo system so I use this remote a lot and this is a really big upgrade if you use the remote as much as I do highly recommend just buying the remote, the new Apple TV doesn’t seem worth it to me

ugh. So a month ago I picked up the space grey magic keyboard with numpad since Apple discontinued that color and I've wanted one to match my 2018 Mac Mini and replace the old wired Apple keyboard with numeric keypad.
But I am really not liking the short key travel. i've been making way more errors in my typing and my hand feels more strained typing compared to wired one.
This makes me weary of the magic keyboard that will come on the rumored 14" Macbook Pro that I want.

I'm in the market for a 16" MBP.. but at this point, I think I'm going to just wait until October/November for the new one to be released with the purported M1X chip.. Costco has already started discount the i9 MBP with only the 16GB RAM configuration
Personally, I’d get the M1 MBA over an iPad.
I’m also curious what the Mac Mini will bring.
im still sour about my 2018 Mac Mini. Had I known the M1 mini would’ve came out 4 weeks later, I’d have held off. No rumors came out talking about it.
also my 2018 for day to day use is about the same as the 2012 that it replaced

Well the idea of the ipad Pro was that if/when i eventually get the new MBP, it could be used as a sidecar for the MBP as well.. The wife has been suggesting the MBA as well though..
