Well that second video answered my question about the ear cups.
If you're still worried about weight, just do what this guy did (those are Audezes). Simple. Have this setup in your office, at work, and anywhere else you might listen to them...
The Mac Mini M1 showed up today
For the price: I love it. It's dead silent and pretty speedy for most tasks. And yeah, those Adobe apps are still Intel-based yet they work just fine. Web browsing is instant.

Ok Ken, question. How tf do you get that wireless charger at the bottom of that HP AIO to work? I set one of those up for a client a couple months ago and it wouldn't charge anything and I couldn't find an on/off switch anywhere. It seems like it was supposed to be on by default but it wasn't for me, I think I even checked the BIOS.

There is an exterior switch on the bottom right of the screen. It's used for various menus and has the charger on/off listed. It was on by default for me.
Damn. still amazes me that the M1 can even get THAT close to the performance of a higher tier $22K Mac Pro and even his 4 year old $10K custom PC with Titan RTX GPU with more professional cameras.
And wtf is with Adobe Premiere, why isn't Adobe optimizing it to run on par with DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut (even before M1 came out)?
there is no doubt these new chips are amazing. But I want to know what kind of 4K footage is he playing with? iPhone 4K? Hdslr 4K? Certainly not raw 4K from a professional camera. It would be nice if there was more information/transparency. I know he says he plays with canon r5 footage. But so what? It’s still highly compressed files.
want to impress me? Show me how davinci resolves runs.

Still amazing that the lowest end 13" MBP can even edit those.
Because Adobe has always sucked balls in that regard. It’s why I researched heavily to try and get away from their ecosystem. Sadly, in the end they did what I needed and I knew their set up the best after 20+ years. But Premiere is terrible, IMO. Always has been.
Man, all these Apple hardware rumors are just crazy.
New MBP are rumored to remove the TouchBar. Gain back more ports. More squared design ala iPhone 12 Pro. Return of MagSafe
cheaper monitor ala Thunderbolt Display
iMac would have slimmed bezels and remove the chin. Look like the pro display. (This is kind of captain obvious)
Mac Pro may see 2 version. One is direct successor with 2019 model and may still contain Intel chips. The second would be smaller and may be like the G4 Cube.
i bet @Costco actually knows more about hardware and laughing at these wrong rumors.
HomePod mini has been a hit since its debut last fall, offering customers amazing sound, an intelligent assistant, and smart home control all for just $99. We are focusing our efforts on HomePod mini. We are discontinuing the original HomePod, it will continue to be available while supplies last through the Apple Online Store, Apple Retail Stores, and Apple Authorized Resellers. Apple will provide HomePod customers with software updates and service and support through Apple Care.
My guess is it's a reference to Craig Federighi because he has the nickname "Hair Force One" so probably a Mac announcement, probably iMac related since they killed the iMac Pro
