The big payoff to come from this will be when some enterprising company
steals the idea and makes JUST a battery/kickstand that you can dock ANY tablet to.

 

You should get that thing on the G+ auto eraser too. Would make a nice painting with 85% to 100% HDR Scape on Snapseed.

I actually bought 3

One for me, one for a friend that JUST called me and screaming and yelling at me to get on the Play store and buy the Nexus 5. And I bought a white one for the wife but she doesn't know that I bought one for her. If she doesn't like it, I'll resell for more or just return it. She was extremely kind enough to buy me my N4 and surprising me with it so I want to return the favor.

 

And Google is still pissed at Verizon obviously. I wish they would just give them a deal like Apple has and allow Nexus devices back on the network.

 

I'm resisting the urge to buy the N5 so badly right now. Been making myself not do it for the past month. Most likely will wait for the next Moto X or 6th Nexus.

p.s. if she doesn't want it, you could just give it to me for free. I don't mind carrying the burden of having a not full white phone

What makes you think it is all Google's fault?
Verizon has to let people use unlocked phones on their network first, which they aren't.
And remember the new Nexus 7 — Google showed off Verizon support for the tablet when it was announced at I/O 2013, but the carrier said it wasn't a supported device and refused to activate the tablet after it launched. Verizon then quickly said it would be supported "soon," but we haven't heard anything since.
Who knows? But Google said that they are working with Verizon on some products in 2014... Verizon probably wanted a Nexus device with their branding and bloatware on it and Google might make them pay a ton of money for it.
