i wonder if my current plan is sufficient enough for this phone. Looks like its going to be a solid phone. But with the current plans for the iphone to hit all carriers i wonder how this will do against the iphone.

Android just surpassed the iPhone OS (for now) with number of new users, but it will have to dig in really hard and fast to keep peeps from jumpin to the iphone from what they currently are using...once the iphone goes viral... I almost bought a Android phone instead my Pre... but since it was an HTC and I had 3 TP1's I wasnt feelin it...

I'm getting this phone in June. I'll have had the Pre for 1 year so at least I'll get the $75 off the new phone. I have the 23% volume based discount already so don't mind the addn $10 so much, especially since HI has 4G coverage. Cannot wait

That's just how there technology is based. It's a strong system, but it has the one obvious flaw. The good thing about it is if you have voice signal, you have data signal. Unlike GSM where you might have a voice signal, but you can't access data.

I didnt realize the GSM had that weakness either.. thanks for bringing me up to snuff!
thus allowing voice and data at the same time.

Makes sense why in my bathroom my data is slow and YouTube unwatchable but I can talk on the phone. Maybe it's God's way of telling me to get outta the can.

i think the iphone will be available on sprint in September. I will probably wait for that. I wanna see the reviews on the Evo before i consider that over an iphone. I love my sero plan which is why i cant leave sprint
I don't think you could get iPhone with a SERO plan. Everytime I see a deal for Sprint phones on slickdeals, there's always a stipulation that you can't get in on the deal if you have a SERO. I guess we'll see if they even announce it. If Verizon gets it, can Sprint too?

I have had no problems upgrading to any phone on my sero plans. The only difference i see is that they want me to renew my contract in order to get the $150 incentive, but i always decline cause that would change my sero plan from $30 to the $50. I make that savings back in 8 months from sticking with that sero plan. So i willing to pay the full price to keep my plan exactly where it is at.
