... and after these surveys (that I am sure a 100K peeps have done) what has ATT and Apple given back? Are they Listening?
the 69.99 plan is a single line plan for 450 mins, unlmtd text and data included, unlike the competitors who charge you $30 add ons, Sprint builds it into a package, So overall you pay less with Sprint than anywhere else unless u are going with a pre paid plan / service ...I too was on the SERO plan, $30 a month..Sprint will not allow you to add the Smart Phones on that plan whether you upgrade or buy the phone out right, a previous poster stated they just buy phone and add it on, trust me..that is not true, i was able to get the Instinct on 2 years ago, but things have changed, i been fighting with Sprint for days to get them to work with me on the SERO to help me adjust to " normal " plans ...after 30 or so calls and e-mails to corporate ..i settled with the $59.99 EDRP, plus a 20% discount and was able to get them to credit me the difference in cost in credits to lower my bill to $50 a month with the added $10 data plan or 4G service charge ..so not bad, $50 a month for two years, by then the pay as you go plans like Virgins $25 a month, 300 mins , unlimited text & data will have some nice android phones or maybe even the iphone..cant wait to get the EVO, should be in the mail anyday, Radio Shack has it at $199 ..so u dont pay the $299 like at Sprint and have to wait for the $100 mail in rebate ...had to settle things with Sprint with my plan before i could go phone shopping and they are sold out

I read up on that yesterday... seems like there is a huge variance in who is affected too... I know that if I had an affected phone, it would mess me up when I am trying to dial my phone or use the GPS while its in a holder in my car... we will see.
thx for the compliments, just trying to help, also for those of you on Sprint with a contract running out, if you are not aware, there is a department at Sprint you can " bluff " or try to get them to retain ur service with called " account services or retention department " there main purpose is to retain you as a customer and can score some pretty good deals as far as a renewal or service plan that can save you money for staying with Sprint, always good to have a game plan when calling, such as why you want what you want, such as a better deal with another company, Sprint is really the best deal, but you can compare all options and bluff other competitor offers or options, for instance u can say i have been speaking with a rep at T-Mobile and has offered me such and such, and ask what are you willing to do to keep my service? keep in mind that this dept was better in the past at helping customers, sometimes you just need to call and call until you reach a agent who is willing to help, even e-mailing dan@sprint.com is a corporate e-mail if you have a legitimate beef, i felt i did , as i had a killer plan but was not able to add phones onto my great plan and was forced off it, keep ur cool, dont curse and continue the quest if need be, someone at Sprint will help you. sorry for the long story, just trying to help lol, and good luck

I got the Evo on June 4th and I havent had any of the problems listed... I did drop it on the second day I had it and put a nice big scratch on the corner
I went from the HTC Touch Pro (POS winMO) to the Hero and now the Evo so ya I like HTC Phones haha.

I just couldn't get past the winmo
... how do you like the new Android OS?
My buddy just got this phone and I had a chance to play with it last week during our road trip.
This thing is HUGE! The screen is amazing, some of the best pictures I've seen taken by a phone, the oS is okay compared to the Pre. I find the pre simpler to use but maybe because I'm just a lot more used to it.
I find it strange that HTC made such a Zack Morris phone in an environment where all phones are getting skinnier and slicker.
I was kind of excited for this to be a potential upgrade from the Pre but now I will have to wait. I just don't think I want to haul a Netbook sized phone around with me everywhere I go.

I had the G1, MyTouch, Touch Pro 2, HD2, The iphone was mixed in there somewhere, and now I have the EVO. The phone is nice, but i love Android. And i have to say, it doesn't matter what phone, Android is the shit.

So, ur sold on the Android...and u have had more phones than most peeps I know... do u think its too big?
my uncle was able to get an evo and after playing with it for the past week my fiance decided she wants one but i cant seem to find this phone anywhere. Even calling and asking the sales rep, they dont even know when they will be receiving the phone. Crazy on how long the waiting lists are. I wonder if HTC is doing this as a publicity stunt, it wouldnt surprise me if they are.
