Obviously, Dallas is so good this year because Joe Nieundyk learned everything there is to know about building a great hockey program from his time spent in the Maple Leaf organization and learning from the best.

So, Waldorf...is Bernier trade bait or is he still the touted GoTF you were raving about now that Quick seems to be holding on to the starting job with a death grip...?

Hmm, wasn't that the year that Dallas stole the cup on a goal that had been disallowed 731 times over the course of the 98-99 season?

I remember how frustrating those couple of season's were. So many good goals being called back because of that dumb rule and then it decides the Stanley Cup final.

The frustrating part was that they apparently CHANGED the rule during the final and didn't tell anyone. By the rules that existed that season, the call had to be no goal end of story.

BTW, this is why Chara was in the pink bunny outfit. If you don't want to watch the whole thing at least check out the little kids reaction at 1:30.

Bruins v Canadiens tonight kicking off a home and home series. Maybe this can be what finally jumpstarts this slumping team.

First time Max Pacioretty and Chara will be on the ice togethr since the stanchion incident.

Voynov, people....Voynov!

Like I said before this kid is legit. 2 goals against the Stars!

Now Deano has some serious decisions to make. Clearly this kid is top notch...but can you really send him back down when Doughty comes back on Saturday?

The answer is "no way" you don't send a kid like this down, he has it all. Trouble is if you send anyone else down they will be claimed on waivers...unlike Voynov.

So you either tell Voynov, "Look kid, you are better than the roster players taking your spot....but suck it up and see you next year, or when someone gets injured again....or you trade for a spot.

Tough decision. Kids only 21 and has such a huge upside.

With such depth, these are the problems that happen....and the kind of problems you kinda love to have.
