Just bought a magic 1037 DPS / 1.6 attacks per second 1 hand axe for 2.5 million gold.

^damn, you make me feel like a peasant I finally broke the million mark thanks to a lucky drop in that goblin farming area in A2. Every time I drop upwards of half a mil on an item I crap my pants thinking about it.

I know what you meant, those frogs are tricky mofos. but fixed anyway.

I'm at ~4500 armor, 800+ all resist with my buffs up with 20k health and even then I sometimes forget that those crawly bastards hit pretty hard. People who hit 60 and play hardcore inferno are men among men. All it takes is to accidentally aggro a fast waller champion pack just once.... then, gg.

 

Belial is still stupid in inferno. I wish I could get some of the plans for the better gems, been stuck at star a while now :/

I farmed a lot last weekend. That's when I got most of my good stuff that I sold for +500k. The best one was the DEX Andariel's Visage though. Sold that sucker for 4 million and bought another one with INT for 2 million. haha There are just too many Demon Hunters on the market for it.

That's when I started farming too. Been saving for about 7 million and bought couple things for my barb and my wife's monk and of course the 1 Hander that I just bought today. Right now I have about 4 millions left.

Next up is to get some INT/VIT/ALL RES gears for my wizard. My 1 hander should last me pretty good amount of time. Resistance numbers are pretty terrible for my wizard, so that's what I'm going to fix now. My pants/belt/chest armor/rings/ammy are pretty damn outdated.

Dude! Can you make star gems?? Make me some! How much do I have to pay!? I've been using the flawless square forever.

 

Can't you just have the templar tank for you in the corner and shoot the crap out of them?

 

Do you guys think #5 worth 600k? I need to get a good all res belt and found this guy selling it for 600k.

 

9% life is equivalent of about 140 vital on my wizard as of now.

 

yeah I can make star gems.

3 Flawless Square + 30k = 1 Perfect Square so 9 gems + 90k = 3 Perfect Square
3 Perfect Square + 50k = 1 Radiant Square so 9 gems + 150k = 3 Radiant Square
3 Radiant Square + 80k = 1 STAR

AH price is around 450k for a star ruby and up to 650k for a star emerald

i think it's 27 flawless square to 1 star

 

hard to say what that belt is worth unless I compared it to similar items on AH.

I really wish Blizz would let you filter it by four stats. Maybe even five, though that might be too much load on their strained servers, dunno. I just want to find a helm with str, vit, all res, crit chance and a socket.... think I remember seeing it before.

 

I ended up not getting the belt. In AH, it's almost 1 million with similar stats.

AND YES THEY NEED TO ADD ONE MORE FILTER.

been slowly upgrading gear.

i keep getting shit rares from hell azmo. i'm gonna start soloing skele king inferno and pray for something decent that i can sell. once i get a new weapon, hoping for ~1k damage, i'm sure i can own up butcher in inf for more items.

for all the dh out there, what do you use as your 4th skill? i have ss, prep, caltrops and for my 4th skill, right now i'm using bat companion but i was using cluster arrow before for some instant high damage with crits.

Belal in hardcore solo is kicking my ass - i think i need better armor or dmg...

 

apparently the hot thing to do right now is farm the treasure goblin/thief in Act 2 Inferno with high MF gear (one guy has all the gear, need like 300% MF) and another guy with DPS gear.

It spawns right near the portal, which I forget the name at the moment but you can probably google it.

Did it a few times yesterday and every time we saw a gob (1/5 games) we got at least one rare. The rares were kind of crappy but still, it's consistent and only a matter of time a good one will drop. Plus you get fairly good gold out of the deal anyway.

 

oh yea marked for death...i used to use that...maybe i will switch up my skills to use MfD on inf to help my party out since its 12% extra damage for everyone.

actually i find myself not really using up all my hatred when i run solo so maybe bat companion isn't worth it for me. oh and i stopped using cluster arrow cuz god damn 50 hatred per shot! wtf.

i think i'd rage too much if i died on hardcore. my friend last i saw was 54 on hardcore.

yea you should. ss is like a godsend. it make u invinc AND de-aggros the mobs if they're chasing you. i believe every inf dh uses ss with lingering fog rune. 1.5seconds of invinc. use that and spam neth tent, then caltrops and kite and prep, then ss again and neth tent, etc. or run in circles and wait for disc to regen. the setup for all inf dh's are ss, prep, caltrops, and 4th skill is up for debate. hungering arrow and neth tent for the attacks. i might change my passive from steady aim to vengeance. the elites never give me more than 10 yards anyway so i don't get bonus damage to them but if i can spot them at teh edge of the map i can launch a bunch of neth tents at them first...meh decisions.

I do use caltrops, prep and was using marked for death (which does well on bosses)

 

nether tentacles rune for elemental arrow. the one that gives back 3% of damage to life for you. and kiting is basically getting the monsters to follow you while you run. so you shoot them till they get close. SS then shoot more till it runs out, they start following so you run...caltrops along the way and regen hatred while you run and "kite" them after you. like a kite on a string. then u use prep for more ss or caltrops when you have enough hatred then ss and spam neth tent again.

 

Ahh - i'm only level 44 right now - so don't have that rune yet.

 

Ahh got it..yea i didn't know what neth tent was either till i hit 60 and saw the rune...then it made sense.

 

This is painful to look at........ SO CLOSE!

 

Oh yeah, did I tell you guys? I got a brand new Collector's Edition for free.

I'm using ss, prep, impale and marked for death.

 

At no point in time did I think my barb was OP, or that sprint was anything but garbage. Until now.

Just messing around with my build, trying to incorporate sprint + RLTW rune. With battle rage's rune, crits have a high chance of generating fury. I pulled a crapload of mobs... vile swarms, those bees that shoot bees, lacuni stalkers (the jumping ones that throw bombs), imps, two champion packs all at the same time and didn't even die once.

So now I kite almost nonstop and MANY kills come from the tornados that spawn in my wake when I use sprint. If I want I can just run in a huge ass circle while carefully using sprint and there'll be loot on the ground. Leap + II rune gives me 16,000 armor for a few seconds for those "oh shit" moments.

The tornados are AOE and tick quickly, about one tick per second. Regular hits - ~3k or so while crits hit for 10-12k. Note that I have life on hit and per kill. I actually hope, no... I know this gets nerfed, it's silly. I love it when I go up against fast champions now.

Of course I still get raped by just three champion soul ripper packs, but I think every class and build does as well. Soul rippers are probably the single worst mob in the game on inferno so far for me. Just google "inferno soul ripper"

 

how do you guys handle the damage reflect mobs? they always kill me not cuz of them but cuz i hit them to death

 

for wizards i can heal myself quickly by throwing down several hydras while equipped with life on kill stats.

but obv you need some kind of heals.

 

What class do you play? My buddy is a wiz and he uses life per sec gear. Apparently a goal is 2k-3k per sec, he generates 1k right now just standing there.

I use life on hit and as a barb dread spear rune heals me for 60% of dmg done.

 

wizard. There's an "exploit" that allows a wizard to heal him/herself by "killing" their hydra by spawning a new one. If you have gear that has life on kill you will heal yourself every time you put one down. With the proper passives you can do this fairly frequently. I have two rings that heal something like 225 hp each + 15% attack speed each.

i'm way undergeared though at 16k hp and 31k dps.
