wizard lvl 58 / 18k hp / 8.5k dmg with force weapon and without glass cannon.

im at hell act 4 and still haven't bought any items. the drops are pretty damn good in hell. have about 600k gold right now. hopefully ill have enough gold to purchase some good items that will be fairly viable in inferno.

i guess to play alright in inferno level, need to bump up the armor and all resistance, yeah?

 

you're goign to need damage and vit for inferno i think. resistance is a plus also. my friend's gears have lots of vit and their main stat. i think i remember seeing a rare 3 socket torso with 3 +34vit gems

 

Yeah, I read a lot of diablo 3 forum stuff and you definitely need a lot of vit, but you can't neglect on the resistance since that directly affects the effective hp basically. Without substantial amount of resistance, you will likely get 1-2 shotted by anything. lol ridiculous. I mean it's inferno where you need to have all the right gears to even play.

 

My account got hacked. I did not give my password to anyone so I have no idea how they got it. My password was not very long, that was probably the issue. I made a new one that is the maximum char allowed now. I reset it as fast I could using the blizzard account hacked feature however in that time the hacker was able to clear out most of my storage and all my gold, about 800k. This sucks, I don't feel like playing anymore.

^ Keylogger probably... blizzard games are notorious for getting hacked because the 3rd party market to sell gold in blizz games is a pretty big business.

For all of you guys who haven't played WoW, and you have a Smart Phone, do yourselves a favor and get the Blizzard Authenticator in the App Market/Play Store and link it to your bnet account.

It's free and requires you to punch in a 8 digit number combination that constantly changes ever 10-15 seconds and works on all Blizzard Bnet games (WoW, SC2, D3).

My raiding guild in WoW made it a requirement once it was made available for free on smart phones.

 

Yea one of my friends got his D3 account hacked also. He told me to get the authenticator but I didn't listen.

Definately recommend everyone to add the authenticator on your account if you haven't already.

 

+1 on the authenticator. My WoW account got hacked and I've had one ever since. And as long as you're constantly logging in from the same PC at the same IP address it doesn't ask you for it every time.

Finally beat Belial Had to totally change up my skill set to do it, but I got him on the third try. I got to the second part of the fight each time. First time the bastard one shotted me. Second time I didn't get any further, but at least it took him a while to get me. Third time was the charm. I enjoyed running back through town rather than using the town portal. The praise from the NPC's was totally worth it

Yes - get this EVERYONE! There have been some reports of accounts getting hacked. I would bet every single one of them have been with very weak passwords. None of them had the authenticators setup.

I took my authenticator off my account for like 1 day when I stopped playing wow for about 2 months and got hacked.

Which boss is the easiest to do this run? Inferno skeleton king? Butcher? Where do you guys do these runs once you hit lvl 60?

From what I've read BS and JC is a complete waste, at least at this point in the game. Its main benefit is to help curb inflation later on when prices stabilize... or something. I forgot exactly what the guy said but he had a good point

I'd assume you could sell mats for quite a bit too, but for how much, dunno. I guess later on, instead of just scouring the AH all the time you could roll the dice since you'll have tons of gold and plenty of mats?

Giving up now since I need tome of secrets to craft decent stuff. Even craft rares at my BS level are junk. Why create a gem when it most likely is much cheaper/easier to buy on AH?

 

Also, you guys are crazy for not using authenticators. When I swapped authenticators from one phone to another, I made sure I activated the new one immediately after the first was deactivated. My WoW account has junk at this point but still, not worth the risk.

The days of waiting weeks for your crap to get back to you are pretty much over.. When I did get hacked, Blizzard figured it out on their own, sent me an email telling me I was hacked, I reset my password and I had my stuff in my mailbox the same day. It was an inconvenience for sure, but it was not the end of the world.

Still wont play without one though. Its a lot like having unprotected butt secks these days....

 

I've been leveling it little by little.. Mostly just salvaging the blues I find. Ill flip through and see if there is anything I can use, but its mostly junk.. Just wondered if it was worth it as the levels get higher.

there is an issue right now, if you join a public game apparently the hackers are able to get a hold of your account even if you have a authenticator, basically don't join public games right now that is were most people are getting their account hacked from.

Oh and for inferno you need resist gear and damage. and when i say resists I mean like 600+ to survive reasonably

 

Yea I didn't play WoW and never needed anything like an authenticator for a game before. I didn't realize how rampant the hacking was on Blizzard games...until now.

Well, good news, I received a response from Blizzard and they are going to restore my account. I will lose about 200k gold and 11 levels on my lvl 50 barb, (level 60 DH unaffected because I wasn't on it yesterday). Much better than losing everything. I added the authenticator now so hopefully that gives me some added protection. Looking forward to being able to play again soon.

yeah ive been 60 on my witch doctor since about weds, and frankly I am dissappointed with game now, there are no new mechanics to boss fight on higher difficulties just multiplied damage, sigh well at least the game was a birthday gift to me

Ugh having a bunch of problems with AH right now. 100k+ unaccounted for just like that due to failed buyouts. It said I'd won the auctions and my stash is missing the correct amount but there's nothing in my stash or my completed items tab. I also got some items sold, but no gold shows up either.

filed a ticket. Hopefully D3's support is as good as WoW's was. duhh, same company and all but still...
