Been playing at my buddy's house on his laptop, no problems.

My first Diablo game and I gotta say at first I was worried about the point and click control scheme but I'm loving it now. Just got some sweet gear upgrades for my barb, he looks badass.

god damn barbarians are OP. At least in normal I can tank pretty much anything with gear focused in vitality + regen (Whatever the Diablo community's acronym for that is). My friend accidentally denied the Azmodan event and I stood there doiing nothing for almost a solid minute until I finally died.

Bash + onslaught = one-shot any non-elite

gonna do a fem wizard. I was watching a team play on twitch...48k dmg (dps?) from the geared wizard buffed. ridiculous. They got to phase 3 diablo on inferno and wiped (also wiped several times before that).

 

Got my wizard up to 19 this afternoon before work. Probably won't be able to play again until Monday. Going solo the first time through so I can take my time and enjoy all the story the game has to offer. I'm one of those that explores every corner of the map. If there's dark sections, I go back and explore them. Got some half decent gear. Loving the fact that town portal and identify are skills instead of scrolls now! Hated having to carry those around. Just wish it wasn't online only so I could play at work!

BTW, did the WoW annual pass so Diablo III was free digital download. The great thing was that I was able to download and install the client last week. That said, I couldn't get on at all on opening day. I worked 6am - 2pm ET so by time I got home there were all the server maintenance issues. I tried right up until the GF got back from taking her boards and we went to dinner. Played most of the day on Wednesday though without issue.

i was watching a party take down diablo in inferno. With buffs the guy as doing just over 48k dps as a wizard.


just gotta run and kite them. you cant simply stand in one place and shoot. i use the freeze wave thing and the hydra. Also, having a companion tank (templar) would help a lot.

i just bought this game today and i'm already at act 3. This game is really short They need to add more side quests.

Her char is lvl 24 monk

 

it's def way cheaper to buy gems than to craft them

 

Which companion are you guys using? I've just used the Templar from the beginning. Figured that he's a good match with the wizard.

You guys should try it! I bought some awesome gears for not much money. So many great gears for less than 50000 gold for lvl 32 wizard/lvl 32 monk/ lvl 32 barb....

 

Gotta say, Belial fight on nightmare is fairly entertaining. 'specially with me running over and digging up my buddy's grave every time he sets off his toxic explosions.

He was a DH, he gets like 1-2 shotted by those explosions.

 

I found a few great pieces for under 10000 gold but they were sold before I could hit buyout.

 

I died like 8 times to Belial in normal back when I was freaking underlvled with crappy vital. that was painful.
