Since it was pretty easy to tell that Starcraft 2 was announced during blizzards expo in Korea. It seem that Blizzard will be announcing their newest project. I'm guessing it will be Diablo 3. Personally, I don't think it will be because of WoW. I don't think that Blizzard will be able to support two MMO's, plus I think it would take too much away from WoW.

I don't know. If it was a MMO though, I would have a hard time picking between WOW and D3.

 

 

Um blizzard announced a new expansion pack for WoW. However there is a team 3 still working on a project. Hopefully blizzard announces diablo 3 soon.

 

oh man, if blizz announces d3 i'm gonna have to start hoarding mice in bulk and start cutting off all communication with the outside world so i can get ready to play.

 

they already said they are making another expansion pack for WoW.. upping lvls to 80, new world, and now a hero class you can get once you reach 80

at least. usually release dates are set pretty soon in advance, so if there is not even a date or quarter they are shooting for, it could take a while. this game could be incredible if it stays true to the diablo roots and throws in some cool shit from WoW or whatever other similar games there are

 

From the videos I have seen of the gameplay, they are staying true to the 3/4 view. Which I think is a move in the right direction for staying true to the D1/2 gameplay.

And they still have the barb whirlwind and that jumpy step on your face move..

The Vault Network has posted a new D3 preview which includes quotes from project lead Jay Wilson. Most of Jay's comments sound familiar from the various news pieces Mtv and Kotaku and UGO posted from the NYC media event last week, but the conclusion has some new info about how the game is progressing:

Looks awesome. I've been waiting a long time for a new Diablo. Great game.

 

I think its comming out in the spring or summer next year. The had something about it on the WoW load screen last week. I would pick this up but with WoTK coming out (in Nov :crossfingers im will be busy raiding and lvling a death knight. so no play for me for atleast a little while.

 

Could you imagine if they came out with WOTLK and D3 close to the same time. I may as well try and get fired from my job to collect the unemployment. Oh and file for a divorce as well.

If they are that close, I don't think I will play D3 for a while either just for the simple fact I will be leveling my mage to 80 and getting into raiding. Which I already know is going to soak up most if not all of my free time.
