more adjustments?

my ride has a new timeing belt at 116k and water pump and seals and junk but what else is there that needs to be done? like the valves being adjusted ? the car is running great it burns a small amount of oil but only at high rpms - at like 110 mph i can smell the oil burning only a little bit tho and not all the time like 1 out of 5 times ... are my rings shot? or just on their way out ? any ideas?

Could be rings. Try some Restore. You can get it at any auto parts house. Make sure you get a can for the proper amount of cylinders. It should stop the oil burn and may improve your compression.

Cheers, Inferno

You may want to consider Pioneer's AVH-P7500DVD or AVH-P6500DVD.

By the way, what do you think of my Rota Tarmac II bronze wheels with the Toyo T1-S all weather tires? They barely clear my Brembos!

On the trip? Some might say 120 or so. But the most fun was passing three cars at once on a straight on Hwy 1 bookended by two hairpin curves at what might have been 105!. Good breaks...

I think those rims look great on your STi, Inferno. You're right, they barely squeak by those Brembo's!

hmmm... your girl looks diffrent in that picture from what I remember.

Is that the same one from when we all met over at your house for the triple ice box install meet? I know you're a player and all, so I wouldn't doubt it if you made a switch-a-roo already. :P

Well, whats up, where is everybody.

Mantis, whats the word on your' struts?

Casper we haven't heard from you in a while. Did you get your breaks worked out? I read somthing the other day that sounded alot like the simtoms you were having with your car and they said it might be a bad knock sensor. Have you considered that?

Ruf, Is the ram air intake going to be one of your own design? If so I would like to colaberate with you and come up with somthing for the 1st Gen. Maybe strictly for track use. Is that what you have in mind?
