Thanks . . . I may never beat you and the STI at Motorsports, but I'd like to take a shot at your times with the TLS . . .

Buzz me some time . . . a guy at my church is a big road racer. Used to run Audi and switched to a STi . . . . he's an instructor as well . . . we need to hook up with him.

And thanks on the tip for the ATE flush . . .

My overall tax-rate is very good -- but the way I'm paying myself leaves a lot of taxes owed at the end of the year. I had serious sticker-shock yesterday.

thanks for the birthday wishes guys.

I'm in london now so haven't checked the boards until today.

I did my taxes before I left. One question though, if I got a 1099 this past year and used a 1040 form (without writing off anything of course) would I be ok and in the clear? Can I even use a 1040 with a 1099 instead of a W-2 or do I have to use another form to do my taxes? This is my first time getting a 1099 so...

Just stay over there and don't come back . . . . .

you won't owe any US taxes . . . . . . not, they'll send special forces after you

Seriously, not sure, but I bet you need to report the 1099 on the form somewhere. Hope it wasn't a lot . . . or you may be staying over there for a while . .

Hey civic, Im not sure about what form you use. My wife and I use my fathers accountant. But what I do know is that you have to pay tax on the money stated on that 1099. The 1099 is like a report that your boss gives to the IRS to show how much income you received that you havent paid tax on. So the more you made on that 1099 the more you pay. Luckley my wife and I saved some money from each of her checks this year. So I hope it wont be so bad. Last year it was fugly

Next year we are gonna pay quarterly.

I know a great place to get a soufflé when you get to paris.

souffle is good and all, but crepes are where it's at!! Nothing like a fresh crepe with Nutella from the local street-corner creperie (or however the hell you spell it).

you'd be changing your tune if you went to this place with me. It just melted in your mouth. The place was called Le soufflé.
