Just dropped the Z off of the shop. Man, I don't think that I can live too much longer knowing that someone else is driving my baby.

 

I saw a really hot girl driving a black Z06 on my way in this morning -- I was quite turned on by the combo.

 

Bob's the guy that resurfaced my rotors and had new pads installed and the motor mount replaced under warranty when I had my tranny replaced.

Mantis, I'n not positive, but I may be joing you on the tranny replace soon . . . seems like it's starting to hit hard in 2nd . . . that's what it did before #1 . . . took about 2 months from that point though.

Not too unhappy as I never liked the way this one shifts . . . . plain hate it . . . . . so I'm hoping it does blow and the new one is better . . . otherwise I will

I'm still in denial. I am driving an Impala right now. There was a noise that would thunk when I turned the wheel to lock and they can't figure it out.

I just want my car back.

Well, I brought it in to get an oil change and for them to work on a couple of things:

1) The trim around the radio is not flush and is pulling away ever so slightly.
-They do not know how to fix this
2) The driver's side mirror will "bounce" a little upon entering the car, like it is hovering around the memory position, but does not know if it is correct.
-They do not know how to fix this
3) There is a clunk when I turn at parking lot speeds at full lock.
-They do not know how to fix this

So, overall, I think that I am doing pretty well!

I haven't driven it since Sunday -- damn rainy forecast all week.

I'm really loving it. I'm researching LS1 tuners in the Dallas area cuz I've read it can be easily (and relatively inexpensively) tuned to get another ~20WHP/TQ and quicker shifting, etc.

Since it's a lease, that's all I can really do to it without a lot of hassle.

Yeah, tuning will give you about that. You can still do exhaust and intake a little stuff like that though.

 

I just don't whore enough (on the forums anyway -- hehe ) cuz it's taking me forever to get up to 1000 total posts. I need to start surfing the General Discussions again to ramp up quicker!
