I'm dying to get this Accord turned back to stock so if anyone needs an intake, headers (OBX ss), Greddy MX exhaust or whatever you want, just hit me up.

Casper says he's done a lot of them and has never had a problem . . . he says he's got the secret process down that all the Nissian guys use. So I'm going to trust him on that.

There is no secret process...well there might be if someone is charging you $200 bucks to clear headlights. I've done a couple sets myself, 6gen Accord and misc civics. I would choose never to do it again. One time I melted a set so you just gotta be careful.

This is what Casper provided me on clearing the headlights . . .

"I always did laugh about guys talkin about that cause the maxima community disassembles headlights and taillights all the time. Our rule of thumb is temperature. Most of that hard plastic takes quite a bit to really screw up and the only taillights/headlights I've ever heard of being damaged were when they turn the heat up to much. Our standard time/temp is 200 degrees in an oven for 10 mins. A flathead screwdriver is your friend. Carefully and slightly pull the pieces apart and voila! The Acura guys fear putting the headlights back together and get leaks because of the silicone sealant on the headlights. The key here again is to put the parts back together, then put it back in the oven to heat the glue up again. That's it! I've taken more headlights/taillights apart than I can possibly count. Hell, took my tails apart again this past weekend"

Maybe the Honda lens aren't as good as the Nissian lens are . . . we know their trannies are better.

I guess well see . .

Cant say that I'm an expert in anything, but know a few things. Used to work on my civic all the time before it got stolen from out front of my house. I've done exhaust, intakes, suspension...ofcoarse all with the help of someone that was more experienced, but I can definately help out to the best of my ability. I've put in plenty of stereo equiptment too.

Let's do a mod meet and have Casper show us step by step how he does it. It'll be like Emeril except its the Casper show...just no "Bam! and Bam!" cause umm I wouldn't want to see that happening to headlights.

btw, anyone heard from wolfpack lately?

Does Hanzie still have the S2k? Does he ever jump on here anymore? My brother just bought a 2003 S2k, and wondered about available mods for it.

Well, maybe we could do our own version of 'kick it up' like installing some whiter bulbs while we are at it . . .

Ohh...sounds good to me. Where can we do the meet? Trancemission's place? We could cook up a storm. If I get that job (crossing fingers good news on friday), then Sunday we can have a cook out or something.

Yeah, I find that it is always key to check with the wife before you do anything in the Kitchen.

Man, you will get it, no worries!

I don't know if we will be able to do it at Trancemission's cause he works on weekends and needs advance notice to get off. But, hey, it is always worth a shot!

Hey, no sense in putting that sort of responsibilities on your dad . . . besides, you'll want to break it in right by someone who drives like you . . . . ME
