I will start working on some ideas also and we can compare notes at our next meet. I need to find out what I can do to make the filter end of my CAI easier to access. Then fabricate some kind of horn.

we've had them in a few places, generally in the Plano area.

Bennigans, hooters, Race Track (Ennis), Granbury for a twisty run, people's houses (so we can trash them up), Parking Lots, stuff like that.

I'm sure there are places i left out.

Mantis, I was thinking about your wheel problems. What sitting do you have your coilovers on? Maybe you are running them to stiff for the street. A softer sitting might absorbe some of the shock whin you hit a pothole and save the wheels. Just a thought.

mantis, i remember you saying you only had a 128mb memory stick for your camera. Just saw this and thought it was a good deal if you want a 256. I know it would be useful with those 5mp pics.

cool, glad it helped someone. My 4mp camera only takes 123 pics with a 256 card, and i've used that up b4 and had to go to my 128 backup. there's no way i could get along with just one 128 card.

bad news... my insurance just got cancelled... they upped it to $5400 a year and so I told them . My parents pay for the insurance (I know I'm spoiled) b/c I can't afford a part time job now during school but this is too much. I volunteered to not drive this semester to save the family some money... I dunno what I'm gonna do now.

so here's a funny story...

Last night on the way home, after driving with all those morons who don't know how to work a fast lane, my road rage is burning pretty strong. So i start to drive pretty stupid (I really need to calm down when i drive in traffic). It's about 6:00 so it's getting dark out, but not too dark yet. Well I start cutting around cars to try to get out of this huge pack of idiots that aren't going anywhere. I'm finally getting toward the front of the pack, there's just one more car in front of me in the fast lane, so i'm on her tail kinda close to give her a hint to get the hell outta my way. I look in my rear view and see a bike right on my tail... i'm like no way that can be a cop, he would be flashing his lights by now, and it looked to small to be a cop harley. So that lady finally gets outta my way and i accelerate pretty hard, figuring this bike just wants to get by too. Nope, he was a cop. I look back again, and there's the lights. F**K!!!

So i immediately pull over of course, turn off my car, turn on the interior lights, roll down both windows and put my hands on the wheel... i know the drill. This guy comes up to my window about ready to bite my head off. "YOU IN SOME KINDA HURRY!?!?" He just started yelling at me for my stupid driving (which i deserved). "I saw you make 4 or 5 unsafe lane changes! I couldn't even tell how fast you were going when you took off!!" He asked where i lived and i pointed at the next exit and said right there. "You're that close to home and driving that stupid??!! Where'd you come from? You drive like that all the way from Ft. Worth?!?" You ever seen a wreck? You ever been in a wreck? You know what would happen to your car if you rearend someone at those speeds? You see that concrete wall, those things hurt!! Give me your licence and insurance!" He looks at it for a minute, but doesn't walk back to his bike... I'm thinking there's no way i'm getting outta here with out a huge ticket... "Here, go home!"

Yep, I'm 2 for 3 when getting pulled over for speeding. No ticket last night!!!

danny, you're a lucky SOB ya know that?

i've been pulled over twice this past year -- neither time for excessive speeding, and got tickets both times.

i think it's only fair that we split the cost and call it even!
