It looks like I am the only one who had an improvement from the November track night to the March night--and only on one run.

All the other times were in the 14.75 to 14.85 range--about the same as my three best times in November (14.801 best run).

Here are the temp/humidity from the weather report and the following run times:

7:00 PM: 70 degrees 33% humidity 3rd best run: 14.78 (7:09 PM)

9:00 PM: 67 degrees 50%, 2nd best run: 14.75 9:15 PM

10:00 PM 62 degrees 57%, Best run: 14.683 (at 10:24 PM)

11:00 PM 60 degrees 71%, Worst run: 14.86 (at 11:46 PM)

Also, I noticed the times on the slips are one hour fast--for example, my last run was at 11:45 PM but my slip shows 00:45 AM.

wwooooohhoooo!!!

My neighbor gave me a call this morning and asked if I had time to put in the headers... I was over there in 5 min. Sorry Bluesman, short notice. We got them in in 1.5 hours! Well, he got them in, I didn't do that much. It was definately useful that he had air tools and a compressor in his garage.

I went out for a drive after that and wow, it pulls to redline a lot faster. I called my friend with the silver GT for a little impromtu race (I know, take it to the track, sorry). I was nervous cause I did not want to get pulled over for street racing. So we line up at the light and when it went green, Marc got a good jump on me... yep, that's right, I didn't turn off VSA I wasn't used to the how quick it revs now so I hit the limiter pretty hard too. He beat me by about 3-4 cars. Oh well, I wait for the track next time.
But here's the funny part... after we slow down to about 50 we're cruising next to each other taking about the jump and shifts and stuff, then I look back and see a cop right on my ass. I almost right there. We came to the end of the road, right at 360, stopped and went over the bridge, the whole time I'm watching my mirror, and he just sits at the stop sign as I'm heading over 360... then finally he does a u-turn. THANK GOD no more street racing for me. :shakehd:

Awwwwww yeah!

Glad you got those bad boys in man!

Heh, I was somewhere between 5000 & 6800 RPM for about 3 days straight after I got my headers...

Looks like its time for you to hit the track bub.

The only resonance should be in the ear of the other driver listening to your exhaust as you pull away.

Outstanding time on your installation!!! That is faster than the Ice Box. You will love the headers--they should make your AEM intake that much better, too. You need to get down to the track. I will have to see--two weekends in a row is unlikely to happen for me. If the wheels are on, I may be able to use that as the excuse...

They look good, Danny. No more worrying about being bronzed up 'cause you would have done that the first month anyway!!!

Congratulations! Inferno

Not sure when I can pull it off again. But this weekend would not work for me.

However, I do want to try some different things next time. As in play around with different launches and such. Not worry so much about consistency and or beating someone. :P

Although I did spank another 3.5 Altima late this afternoon. The guy was begging for a good old fashioned Type-S Arse Whippen!

I'm sooooo goin again!

Two of our fastest maximas (300hp and 410hp) are most likely going and i've been dying to see both run.

Plus, every person I spoke with that night said they were having bad runs, so if they were having bad runs and I got a 15.38.... I might be able to hit 15.2ish or 15.1 if God truely is a Nissan driver .

Let me know danny.

i wouldn't mind seeing some fast maximas.

The reason I want to go this Fri. is cause I don't know my schedule for next Fri. My dipshit boss doesn't do them very far in advance.

I just got a post card in the mail from Acura. They're giving me free tickets to the auto show to preview the new TSX. Anyone else get this today?

Ruf, I think you just called me.

A guy (sounding like you) called my cell askin for John. So i'm assuming if it was you, you were calling my cell thinkin it was Inferno.

Maybe i'm wrong, but the guy sounded just like you.

Oh well.

Hey guys, volleyball all weekend and now a nasty head cold has my immediate attention, so I haven't had a chance to capture or even view the footage of the races. I'll get them posted as fast as I can--hopefully tomorrow night if I feel better. Focking sore throat is driving me, uh, Nutz!

I wouldn't be so quick to talk my WDP amigo. I'm clipping at your heals and should be catching up soon!

I know .5 secs is a lot in the 1/4 but I haven't even done any post cat mods and if I tried really hard, I could get the weight of my car under 3k.

Watch out... a nissan is coming.....

I forgot to give credit to my new 1/4 mile coach, Inferno. I turned in my best time after geting his tip of the day. "Turn on some music and relax." I put on a little Blues, of course, and shaved .035 sec off my time. Thanks Inferno!!

In other news, I have an 18.1" viewable area ultra-sharp flat panel monitor sitting at home still in the box. Focking overtime!!!

It is taking way too long. It should only be 5 days maximum anywhere in the US via UPS. But I don't want to keep asking every day so I thought I would give it until tomorrow night to ask for another update...

Oh yeah, baby, THAT is what I am talking about!!!

In case folks are looking for that "just right" tune, I turned in my best time listening to Sublime...

Congratulations about getting your CAI ordered, Bluesman. I bet it is here before my rims. Your engine will look great (I assume you got red) and your times will improve.
