Apple: iPhone News and Discussion Thread
The 9 million figure compares quite favorably to the five million iPhone 5 that Apple sold in the opening sales weekend last year, and four million iPhone 4S it sold during the equivalent period in 2011. However, it's difficult to make year-over-year comparisons, as Apple's launch markets have changed each year. This year, the company made both its new iPhones available in China on day one for the first time.
it's more about comparing previous launch events that didn't include the same markets (especially China) to this year that did include China, it's not an apples-to-apples comparison.
Stunna isn't perspective...he is a retard burrito wrapped inside an idiot tortilla who thinks he is covered in smart sauce...its really just diarrhea...
May or may not be a legit sale but $10,000 gold iPhone.

We need to delete like few pages so we can get back to iPhone and its features.
The battery has improved on my device for sure, anyone else noticed this? iOS 7 is really growing on me after finding a subtle background which makes the phone not that bright but just crisp. My coworker got the 5S... I see the difference in the launching of apps, but that's about it.
Now if Apple can make the phone waterproof, it will completely dominate the phone market.

I dont use my phone as much (not as much I use my Galaxy note) and the battery barely lasts me until night....
dont get me wrong the battery life is still much better than my Orinigal Galaxy note but way way way worse than the wifey's S4....
just to compare "apples" to "apples", the old iphone 3gs running IOS6 (if my memory serves me right) had worse battery life compared to the iphone4 running IOS7....
so if you are not a heavy user, go for it....if you are, then I suggest stick to IOS6 or make sure you can go back to the old OS

I'm running iOS7 on my iPhone4, but about 2 months ago, if memory serves me right, I installed a new battery in my iPhone4, and for the past month that I've been running iOS7, it's been fine.

Edit: checked my records, replaced my battery back in May. Boy does time fly. Replacing the battery is cheap (~$20), if you're planning on keeping the phone for some time anyway, replace the battery (http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Replacin...Battery/3141/1)
How old is your iPhone4? Comparing a new iPhone4 running iOS6 to a new iPhone4 running iOS7 is a fair comparison. iOS7 abviously has more bells and whistles than iOS6, as such it may eat more battery, but if your battery was old/bad to begin with, it's only going to exacerbate the issue.

But I am also picky and demand faster performance from my electronics.

Sly, the battery seemed to last a day EASY on the iOs6...i knew the with iOS7, it will take a hit and it did...now it barely lasts a full day....
I have not switched out the battery..."aint nobody got time fo dat" LOL....but i wont complain since the phone is almost 3.5 years old (bought it in early 2010)....and still works just fine...I see some lag which Sarlacc mentioned but nothing tooo major to complain about....

The lag is manageable....except those time when you REALLY need it, and then it just drags ass.

to boost Apple figures.
