I don't know if it's still common business practice for them but Samsung supplied a lot of OLED screens to Android phones, but only used the latest and greatest tech for their own devices. Regardless OLED screen is going to have great battery life, as well as look amazing, that's my prediction. My Note 4 had a better display than the 7+
Also betting that night mode becomes more popular on more iOS apps.
If you're using Safari you can go into "reader view" and change the settings to give the page a black background.

I had that problem yesterday. Every time I checked, it said iOS 11.0 was up to date. No 11.01 update.
Then I decided to power off my iPhone. After powering it back on and checking for updates, 11.0.1 update showed up and downloaded. I'm guessing that's another bug.

I updated to 11.0.1 ... not any better.
1) My phone's bluetooth always turns itself on when I get in my car - do not like

Even the new map is fantastic.
On the top it shows how many lanes and markers.
IT shows speed limits.
As you come closer to the destination the final address pops up on top, which it didn't before.
The voice is slightly different.

Nevermind, put me on the list of battery complaints.
Left it unplugged overnight and made a mental note, went to sleep around 60%.
Woke up and it was around 37%. Turned it on a minute later and that changed to 35%.

Interesting, my 7Plus with the new upgrade, has slightly better battery. Instead of recharging by lunch, I am getting to about 3pm before recharging. Eh, the X can't come soon enough. Pile of garbage 7plus needs to be done with, like the TLX

Bought it the day I came out. Used to be able to go 7am-9pm and then charge.
Last 6 months, I go from 7am-12:30pm, and it needs a charge
Now with new update, battery is lasting 2 more hours.
I would like to be able to from 7am-10pm with heavy use and not need a charger, ideally.

I see, since new, my 7 Plus has always lasted me till about 2-3pm from when I unplug at 6:30AM. Still does to date.

Does anyone else absolutely hate the way notifications are done on iOS11? When I wanted to read a text without opening I used to just pull my notifications down, but now it just says "iMessage" like on the lock screen. I REALLY hate that.
You can also count me in as bad battery life on my 6. However, the only bug I am having is with Spodify. My lock screen always pulls up iHeartRadio even when I am playing Spodify.
They still haven't fixed the issue when you kill your message app that the last text goes from "read" back to "delivered." That's been around for over a year now.

One day, Apple might integrate default apps. Maybe. I really like the way Apple maps shows directions from your lock screen, but it's lead me to the wrong address, taken too long, or didn't reroute me out of traffic way too many times to use it regularly.
That's another annoyance too, Spotify used to show the play/next track buttons but now it's wonky.

I do not have read receipts on. What I used to do is pull down the notifications and read the text when I am busy, then reply later when I have time. This way the notification is still there to remind me. It's not the end of the world, just annoying to me.
I am a Waze user myself, it gets me to and from work everyday! haha.

It's in Settings. Go Settings->Notifications->Messages and set your "Show Previews" preference. "Always" will show the content of the message on the lock screen.
