I spoke once to a guy who buys Macs specifically who told me that sometimes the SSD is a bad selling point since most people dont know what it means, they just know its smaller in size.
I'm at $265 for my 15" 2007 MBP 2.4ghz
Over Christmas break I've been thinking about taking it somewhere to make it faster and adding some memory. I would like a brand new rMBP when I graduate but I would rather pay down some student loans.

Any suggestions of where I should order it from? There are a lot of sites out there and I don't want to choose the wrong one.
Sorry, it seems like I'm asking you to spoon feed me
Feel free to PM me if you would like.
There are two 500s on Newegg, that's it. Samsungs. $500. Crazy.
I would have bought a nice 120 for less then $100. Then bought a nice external backup. And pocketed the $300. Lol

Actually nowadays it's pretty easy to get it set up and running 100%. I just bought the recommended hardware and it was running with hardly any hiccups. Ran into some problems earlier on but it was because I didn't know what I was doing. Did a bit of troubleshooting and fixed the problems. Now I'm using the desktop daily for everything. It's awesome.. I'm glad I went this route instead of buying another MacBook Pro as I'm not in college anymore and don't need the mobility of a laptop.
owc was running a special on a 500GB ssd from toshiba for some ridiculous price of around $300.
Pretty sure I will be too depending on price.
If there is a spec bump for the base 13", I may go with that instead. Since I can't really justify spending that much money on a computer anymore.
