Airport express redesigned.

Looks like a white apple TV.

Not sure if I like it, I liked how the old one plugged directly into the outlet.

I somewhat did, yet this will be easier to plug things in IMO.

If they had come out with a 13" MBP with Retina, I would've already bought it as soon as the store came back up.

Now I need to rethink whether I really want to go from 13" MBA to 15" MBP+Retina... I might stick with the newer MBAs and get one with 8GB to help with LR4/CS6. 13" is the perfect form factor for me.

I want a powerhouse, I want to move away from desktops, and the MBPRD is the one to do it.

How often do you actually use your laptop to watch blurays?

I sure don't...I barely ever use a cd or dvd anymore with my computer.

man... if my laptop had to get stolen, why couldnt it wait till this day

i just gotta avoid seeing any of these new MBP and reading much about it so I dont feel jealous.

All i know is retina display and its slightly faster processor that will probably not be noticeable. But having flash storage will be (assuming thats on the MBP)

What are the new updates for lion? anything great? I dunno how different the mac updates are usually since well i've had a mac for a ltl over a month now.

Buy an external blu-ray player. It'll work

My internal Sony works fine on the Hackintosh, OS X has no problems using USB 3 and Blu-Rays

I ordered a new MBP by the way.

looks like i dont get taht power nap feature, so i'd essentially be paying 20 bucks to add fb too it among other features that seems to sync with other apple device, e.g. air play, icloud, etc.

Lol this is why i hate not being on the same eco-system. But I stand by android being better for a phone, this mac i like better for a laptop, and as for tablets i think windows 8 will be amazing for it.

You can't add the 512SSD to the base model next gen MBP. You have to drop $2800 to get it. I'll pass.....

thats true. Anyway i'm thinking for the future to upgrade my RAM to 8gb?? THink its worth it? Does apple's OS work in a way to take advantage of that extra RAM. Cause I know windows 32bit processors are limited to 4gb max, anymore and it doesnt do anything.

Is there anything like that with mac?

Definitely upgrade, it's EASY to install it yourself. OS X has 64-bit extensions within it, it'll use the extra RAM automatically. You don't have to do a thing.

okk, i'll start looking into deals on newegg and such

Is there a particular one i'm suppose to get? I'm not to computer savvy. I know what things are just dont know things when it comes to compatibility and which RAM to pick and that stuff.

Also something thats really annoying me right now, is that i changed my google pw to make it stronger and my iCal came with a popup saying my pw may be incorrect. I'm typing in my new password but it wont recognize it!!!
