Don't let the 7-9 teams in, pshhhh. That's right Seahawks! Represent that NFC West! Too bad my Niners couldn't have been the ones to do it.

Needless to say, some of the clamoring for a revamped playoff system which would disallow teams with losing records from entering the playoffs was silenced in Seattle today. Good job Hawks.

Now, GO JETS!!! (I'd love to see a Seahawks-Jets superbowl, with PC attempting some payback against his old team.)

I was getting ready to say HTF that was going to happen, then I remember the conference within .03 seconds. I'm still so use to them being an AFC team, even though they started the league as a NFC team.

Yeah, same here. I put on the Saints game and -- for a split second -- wondered why they were playing an AFC team.

EDIT: Jets D looking sharp early on.

I missed the first half (damn work) but got home just in time to see the Colts go up 10-7.

I didnt think the Jets following possession was ever going to end

The kick return by Cromartie was great, and so was the catch by Edwards to setup the field goal.

I know its not looking good for the Jets next week, but Im happy we made it this far.

I was at the Seahawks game yesterday, I am a long time Season Ticket Holder. It was a lot of fun and the Hawks fed off our energy from the stands. Now we have the Falcons and like the Saints, the Falcons beat us already once this year, hopefully we can catch em sleeping. This is the Falcons first playoff game and there is a good chance the Hawks could have an advantage in that they have two playoff games already under their belts ( the Rams game was a playoff atmosphere and was for the division ). Now if the Hawks win next week and the GB Packers can get it done this week and next, then the NFC Championship would be in Seattle ! I can dream, right ?

IMO that kick return by Cormartie won them that game.

I was not a huge football fan growing up, but I have been following the Jets for the last 8 years or so. This Jets team makes you want to watch them.

This may be a cliche but the Jets are in it to win it....and I don't believe Ryan's squad cares who they play. If it's the Pats then so be it: get in, win and then go for a repeat in Pittsburgh (OR avenge the week one loss to the Ravens). Sorry Chiefs fan....despite the improbable in Seattle yesterday, just not seeing it for you.

I agree that they are in it to win it, but I think they will be gunning extra hard for the Pats after that ass kicking they got the last time.

We walked in to Pittsburgh and won. We walked in to Indy and won there. I didn't think we'd do either. We beat the pats in the first game, but never showed up for the second. I just hope we can show up next week. Now that Rex opened his mouth to piss off Brady, we'll be fighting an angry team.

Rex just needs to shut up and coach, people don't like a constant gabber. Ever since they did Hard Knocks, he has been just going on and on. Good luck against the Pats.
