when I saw that Eric Heitmann was out for this game in the pre-show, I had a bad feeling already...
Hope this will be a good game, and not another game where we beat ourselves up

A player throws you a football, it's yours. A baseball flies into the stands, it's yours. A player tosses you their equipment, it's yours.
I could understand wanting to get the helmet back quickly, but no need to be a dick about it security.

Yea but players dont need those items back to resume play... Its stupid that the guy didnt comprehend that the player needed his helmet back. Thats kind of a no shit moment for most of us..
And they, like us know he didnt intend to give it to anyone..

Yes, a ball and helmet aren't quite the same thing. Any fan with half a brain would immedately realize catching a helmet isn't the same as snagging a foul ball or catching a puck that came over the boards.

But, they don't...and have a flipflopper that really just wants to be lazy and slack off during the off-season instead of being in TRAINING CAMP WITH THE REST OF THE TEAM.

Very entertaining...Smith definitely had a nice drive to tie it @ 22. Still...Brees with such a clutch drive.

God damnnit, why do the football Gods hate the Niners? It always seems like we lose by a last minute score!! Ahhhh!!
Regardless of the stupid turnovers, I thought they played well and took it to the Saints. Smith is finally coming into his own and Gore looked good as usual. As always, the defense was top notch too. I just hope they fine tune a few flaws and if they do that then we might have a chance at some post season play.

My armpits are moist.... that was one hell of a game. So close. I knew we were a much better team than week 1 showed. We're 0-2, and that's nothing to be proud of, but we really played great despite some screwups that were attributed to having bench players start. Still, that's our fault for not having the depth. This is why I've always believed in Smith though. He plays much better and has more potential than his numbers show and he's shown maturity at the very least.
Hope Bush is ok. Brees is just too damn good. I liked his playing and knew he had potential even back before San Diego drafted Rivers. When Colston caught that ball I was like.... fuck.
