Both combined equated to a lack of a running game. Chicago didn't have a great one either. The Packers seemed comfortable in daring the Bears to beat them through the air...
I did think going for 5 WR sets on the game-winning drive was a bit nuts...but, hey...the result worked out.

Well, it just stinks for you because your team got called for those a bazillion times...Chicago got caught once with Olin's hold, I recall.
And I suppose that's the difference between your team's 3 sacks on Cutler vs. Chicago's zero on Rodgers...Your O-line are all cheats and hold for dear life.

Our o-line is a mess. The only reason there weren't any sack by your guys is because of Rodgers mobility. Regardless, the holding rule needs to updated. Either call it every play or let them play.

Season-ending injury to their starter in Grant. And Bears have gotten better against the run this year.

Jackson is decent. He's better for tosses and sweeps because he's not so good at finding the gaps and he's not big enough to plow through. The problem is that the Packers usually run dives or off tackle....not Jackson's cup of tea. The coaching staff could easily remedy this, but they don't.

Well if you have to run up the gut in the NFL since everyone is so fast you need the personnel for that. It's why 3rd down backs are 3rd down backs. The pass heavy downs are ideal with open areas near the line of scrimmage so that a surprise sweep, draw, etc will catch the front defenders off guard. Small quick players are ideal for that. Darren Sproles is a good example. He doesn't start since Ryan Mathews is hurt. Instead they start the 248lb Tolbert.

Dez Bryant Refuses to Carry Pads...so, Foots $55K Dinner Bill Instead...
From CNNSI...
Dez Bryant probably should have opted to carry Roy Williams' pads.
Bryant, a rookie Dallas Cowboys receiver, said he'd rather take the fellow offensive players out to dinner and buy them some Nikes instead of hauling Williams' pads around during training camp -- a friendly rookie hazing activity. The problem was that Williams also invited the defensive players to the meal.
The bill from Monday night's dinner at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse came to $54,896, ESPNDallas.com reported.
"They got the young fella," Bryant's adviser David Wells, told the website. "What could he say? He had to pay it, unless he wanted to wash dishes for a month."
Watching his teammates order expensive bottles of wine and just about everything else on the menu likely didn't help Bryant's stress-fractured rib feel any better. The team disclosed that Bryant played with that injury against Houston in Week 3.
The Cowboys have a bye in Week 4, meaning Bryant has extra time to rest his injury.

It just sucks because without all the penalties it was a win...just take solace in the fact that the Bears will crash and burn while you guys get better

Me: you guys got lucky with all those penalties
Raiders fan: yeah, so what, a win's a win. too bad, so sad
Me: oh yeah, what do you think about the tuck rule game?
RF: that call was straight bullshit, we should have....... fuck you.

What a shame, I love Mike and I think he's a good coach but unfortunately in the NFL with the exception of the Steelers and maybe a couple of other teams, if you don't win right away then you're gone...

Man that touchdown made my heart jolt and I jumped right off my bed been a while since I've seen a drive like that, AND a good finish. I knew it was a TD.
I don't wanna say anything yet
However, regarding Singletary.... while I do like his style of coaching I did notice that several articles over time have pointed out, he is an old-school coach and focuses on the run a lot, which isn't bad, but today's game is different. And Coach Singletary didn't have any prior experience as a coordinator or head coach at all. The last head coach with no prior coordinator experience like that was Mike Tice....
edit: and another one. TAYLOR MAYS!!!

I was 95% sure the niners would make the playoffs this season, but at 0 - 4 now, its not looking good, anything worse than a 9 - 3 finish means the end of the niners and Singeltary's job. If they don't make it this year, Mike is gone, and Alex Smith and the team will have yet ANOTHER coach.
And guess who they play next, the fuckin Eagles!!. this is some bullshit.
They HAD this game, but of course a turnover ruins it for them. Clements should have just ran out of bounds.
