Memo to me: NEVER delete any Oilers-hate posts.

I only "trash-talk" about the Nucks and Chicken Wings...although, the latter is now gone and so, probably will have to build up a stronger hate for the Blues.
Yesterday was just a TV night and was channel surfing sports games (MNF, Oilers/Devils, and Nucks/Rags).

Shouldn't have deleted that post for starters. I blame too much beer.
Should've just posted a nice-comeback-by-Oilers post and nothing would've come of it.

You're still missing it but don't worry, I'm quite chill.
I don't care about the oilers, I'd like Andrew Ference to do well because I like him as a person and player and he left Boston under the best terms possible, he didn't want to go, the team didn't want him to go, the fans didn't want him to go but there was no way we could afford him while having a back up line of 3 very good D under 24 years old.
None of that makes me a real Oilers fan. I just hope Andy does well and a certain amount of his success will require the team he plays on to succeed as well.
But none of that was what I was saying originally. All I was saying is, "I caught ya! I saw that post before you deleted it!"
I would have done the same thing if it was Winnipeg staging a comeback on Phoenix if I saw a post mysteriously disappear when the game actually concluded.

Wayyy to much hockey broadcasts up here though. We have Center Ice free for awhile and then, with TSN, Sportsnet, and CBC all dueling to show games...
I'll take a break tonight from ice surfing. At least try to.

There's lots of reports that that IS how he did it. Of course Shero is going to deny that's how it happened, he'd look like a moron if he admitted it.
Until Pittsburgh comes up with some other story that's believable, this is going to go down as even more stupid an injury than Penner's pancake related back problems. Penner's gots ta' eat, there was no logical reason to play whiffle ball on the ice.
Maybe as a team building activity the Penguins could take on the Steelers in a full contact game. At the very least it would even up the numbers between the eastern and western conferences.

Rangers back to normal. I went to sleep at the beginning of the second and it was amazing it wasn't 9-1 then.

I know it is early in the season but I am impressed so far with the work Roy has done on turning around the Avs.

But, by week 3 and 4, I'd say we know what the trend will be.
THAT being said, the Avs look good. Still, one has to wonder if Roy's histrionics and screamer-type approach will work over the long-haul and/or if his players start to tune him out. If I'm not mistaken, in pro-sports, task-master-type coaches (i.e. Roy) don't typically work out.
But, we'll see.

I enjoyed that as well It was needed I think though because it showed he would stand up for the players which is something the Sacco never did. He never showed any emotion behind the bench.
