Indeed. If this goes to Game 7, it's a toss-up. Tomorrow's game will be telling just what our respective teams are really made of.

Impressed that the Hawks held on to the 4-1 lead with, oh say 10 minutes left in the third.

The Joe is gonna be rockin' and the Wing's better take advantage to put the final nail in Chicago. Do not want to chance a game 7 against this team.

• The last four times the Red Wings won the Stanley Cup -- 1997, 1998, 2002, 2008 -- they eliminated a Quenneville-coached team en route to the Finals.....

No, what happened? Did the leafs come back from being down 4 to 1 and win it in the last ten minutes of game seven?

Yes, quite possibly. Let's see which Hawks team shows up...the one that plays like the Leaves (oh yes...I just went there) or the one that plays like the one that plowed through the regular season.

Those Leaves should have been in the Conference final right now after wiping the floor with the Rangers and my prediction of a sweep of the Pens would have been realized......

It's really too bad that Kessel is so underappreciated. If he had the same publicity as over in Pittsburgh, I'm sure he'd be BIGGER than Crosby (I mean, who wants a frequent concussion basketcase and week-teethed star?).

Phil would probably the face of the NHL and all pro-sports. Like, move over LeBron and Tom Brady.

If Phil took an elbow to the head or puck to his mouth, he would not be injured like the Sidney Glassby.

Gotta give kessel credit where it's due. When he was in Boston he missed about 8 games between having a bout of mono and finding out he had cancer.

Yeah. Can you imagine how many days Sid would be out for if he had cancer? Probably a decade.

Phil's tougher and way more marketable. Kessel: CANCER SURVIVOR. No other star has gone through what Phil has gone through. That...and playing with Dion.

Speaking of dom ....

I'm guessing he's bought a Joe Thornton jersey and has enshrined his home in sharks paraphernalia. They're his only hope to keep anyone from having bragging rights next year and according to his threats our only hope to save the hockey talk thread.

You obviously don't remember Lemieux in the 90's, keep trolling. Sid's playing with 9 screws in his jaw

Two game 7's in the West. Oh boy!
Both games are gonna come down to which team will play for 60 minutes.

But, honestly, of the 2 Game 7s...I'd say, Waldorf's team draws the easier assignment. C'mon man...this is the Sharks. Do we really believe they have the fortitude to win the game? I doubt it.

The Kings need to stay out of the box and win some face-offs and I think the rest will take care of itself.

But if the Kings win, may move forward with his diabolical plan before the finals ever take place. Like a prisoner on death row he'll have nothing left to lose.

Yup. I'm not celebrating anything yet. This Wings team has done it already this year by going into hostile territory and beating the Ducks in a Game 7.

Most Game 7s are coin flips I think.

The juicy storyline for the Eastern Finals is that Iggy and Morrow meet up against the team they left at the altar.

Should be good times...wonder if the Bruins will use that as a source of motivation?
