Anyone else completely confused with this "I was going to/thinking about blowing the whistle so even if you didn't hear it the play is dead" rule? And when the hell did this stupid fawkin rule come to pass exactly?

Huge break. If Chicago loses, that ref will need to leave the city under protection.

But, honestly...the Hawks need to forget this and try not to let it affect their play in OT. Still, if they lose because of this...ah...well, what can you say.

I never understood that either. Not sure when it came into effect but it's pretty absurd to make a rule based on the intent of the ref.

Ok, CBC did a great job of replaying that. The whistle definitely went before he even got the shot off.

I couldn't hear it when they did the replay....but you can see the ref move for the whistle well before the goal.

It's called clean living. You dirty rotten scoundrels can't relate, but I just got off a conference call with Teh Count, we're good.

It's okay...you'll be happier with me suffering with you. Prepare for LOTS of assumptions and negativity.

Cuz, clearly...that's exactly how I post stuff on here.

Well, Fibs. I do have to say, this is an appropriate ending to our teams' historic rivalry. Game 7. OT. What more can you ask for? I mean, sure...you needed help from a ref...but, still...who cares?

Sorry, was that too assuming and negative?

Stage 1: Outdoor game at the Big House - check
Stage 2: Move to the East - check
Stage 3: 2012/13 Champions - In Progress

Does the Count really like Little Ceasars that much?

Sorry Fibs, Dougler......

No I'm not

What most consider to be the best 4 teams in the semis. Pretty rare I think. Should be some good hockey.

I guess the rink staff got out a crowbar and torch to remove Crawford from the goalpost after that Wings goal

Clearly he didn't move for some odd reason.

Clearly, Chicago's no-name goalie was playing Nyquist as if he was going to shoot all the way. And he also assumed that Hossa was backchecking and covered Zetterberg.

This is not the same sort of gaffe like your name-brand giving a puck directly to a Blues player.

8 more wins until I can have Waldorf and dom STFU about Chicago's no-name goalie and realize that the system and D often has just as big of an impact...

I can dream.

I see squirt goalies move quicker post to post than Crawford.
