Rask doesn't have any assists, Kari lehtonen has been the better Finnish goaltender with his 2 assists. I'm a bit surprised Tuukka got the start today, I thought Kari has shown to be better with this team.

 

Moogelino needs to explain to me how the Kings aren't 60-0 with an average of 4 goals per game. Drew Doughty is a hell of a player. Wish I could watch him play more often. Goes to prep the basement....

No. Canada plays the winner of Swiss/Lativia and US plays the winner of the Czechs/Slovaks. Canada and the US will likely play on Friday in the semis. IF Canada can get by the always pesky Swiss.

 

I believe the US, Sweden, Finland, and Kanuckistan have a bye in the single elimination games and go straight to the quarter finals.

 

Swiss goaltending has been stellar so far.

I like Crosby, but I've have no problem calling him out in the past when he sucked out. That IMO was not a dive. He was knocked down, plain and simple.

Surprised there wasn't more said about the obvious boarding call in OT when Benn was face planted into the end board from behind. Refs had the whistles buried deep in that OT.

 

IIRC the Swiss either beat Canada or tied them back in 06. Think they eliminated them in the quarters.
