Did anyone hear about the Slovakian uniforms? Apparently the blue or white pin stripes (home/away uniforms) are actually the words to the Slovakian national anthem.

After watching Finland vs Norway on the BBC feed, I will never ever complain about a North American Hockey play by play guy again.
Honestly, I think has more hockey knowledge than this guy.

He probably wouldn't score as much.

Perhaps Sidney Crosby was holding Jeff Carter back?
Carter was removed from Crosby's wing on Canada's top line Friday, and the Los Angeles Kings forward promptly scored a natural hat trick in the second period of a 6-0 rout of Austria in Group B play at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

It just occurred to me that Finlands goaltender has more points in the Olympic tournament than "the greatest player in the world". It's OK Crosby, you're Canadian, you're doing the best you can.

One of the local radio guys was thinking Quick should start until he fails. His theory (which I think is a good one) was that all things at their best, Quick has more positives than Miller, if Quick fails, Miller would be a proven backup.
Otherwise, if they try to run and gun with the Russians, yeah...ew.
Damn I just love those black Canada jerse....sweater....unifo...., you get my point. Got to get out and buy one.
US should crush the Russians. Far better team overall. Good luck.
