The sizzle in the Steak
Welcome to Sunny SoCAL.
We get all the transplants.
In places like Detroit there are ZERO transplants.....nobody in their right mind wants to move to your neck of the woods
Sadly, having the Red Wings bandwagon fans in the stand is the price one pays for living in Sunny SoCAL.
...what's funny is most of these fans couldn't tell you who was the Red Wings coach prior to Bowman...nor who the captain was prior to Stevie Y.

Yup. It's why they got no support during the Cup run last year from Canada. Numerous articles written about the team and the fanbase as huge turnoffs.
And of course, the fans back up all of that by burning the city to the ground.

Hmmm, when's the last time a nuck's or hawks fan called 911 over a hockey play?
Habs fans are the worst, there's no debate here.

And I'm a bit surprised Neo here would be pointing at Hawks fans...I would've thought he'd have the biggest hate-on for the Flyers fans.
Anyhow, not defending my crowd because well, I'm not around them on a regular basis. But, just not usually the fanbase you say pair with "obnoxious". And again, in my time and exposure to them, I have not found anything off about them.
There's not even a rivalry with the Pens with Chicago and how often do you see Hawks fans given they play what, once a year?
The fans of Leafs, Canucks, and yes, Habs are more often the ones you hear regularly about being overly...enthusiastic.
But, I'd say the worst fans in all of sports has to belong to the Yankees and possibly the Lakers.

Just heard the CBC is broadcasting the Pitt game tonight.
For those of you unaware, the CBC only broadcasts games involving at least 1 Canadian team and playoff games. I can't recall the last time they showed any sort of mid season game. And a game involving the Islanders hasn't been on CBC since 1982.
The Power of Sid.

^ This is when Jonesi will start posting again.

Why you always gotta be negative nancy on Motown? This place has been through hell and back and we're still here to kick some ass. This may come as news to you, but I've been to SoCal plenty of times and I don't envy you.

Well, this is about to get personal.
Who knew a Kings fan and a Wings fan would go at it?

But, think...in a year, Fibs will be exchanging insults and jabs with the likes of dom, Jonesi, wstevens, and jupes since his team is heading to the Eastern conference...

But is he? Unless he wants the Caps to be the Canuckleheads of the Eastern Conference, he has to find a way to get Ovechtrick to play up to his full potential without pouting like a little bitch.
Agreed. The guy is a freak: so big, so talented - that's why it pisses me off that he looks like a lame duck out there. If you combined Ovie's skill with Crosby's worth ethic, we'd be watching the second coming of The Great One.
Stoked to see Crosby come back tonight and I hope Ovie is taking notes on how to play the game of hockey.
Ovie needs to wake up and start playing with some intensity. Regardless of what his issues are, show some heart.

Like, he does realize that the run and gun system they had didn't work which is why there is more structure to the Caps play now...?
Does he not want to win in the playoffs...?

I still think it is hilarious whenever the Grave Robber and the Funeral Director go at it.

No, this IS a good thing, never want to see a player out of the game, because of an injury. With they way the Pens are playing, I think him coming back could hurt them for a little bit, could mess up the rhythm.
The sizzle in the Steak
If Sid is 100% there will by not chemistry rhythm problem with the Pens.
Sid is a difference maker.

There's going to be some rust, can't be out almost a year and not have it.
Looks like no rust ...

^^ No doubt, but the superstars always come through and show just how good they are.
