Well, that's easy. They are alot like the Sharks with some differences...they have players that disappear when the going gets tough.

What makes Vancity different is that they are divers and cheapshots. Any team that has Burrows, Bieksa, Torres, and even Kesler is going to have that sort of play. The other thing is that SJ has a goalie that has proven to not melt under pressure. Vancouver? Well, he's worth $10M and has gone on vacation often in that head of his...

That being said, should be an entertaining series. This is Vancity's best shot at the Cup...I hope they don't blow it or we don't need an earthquake to deepsix that city.

Well, we all know there is a certain "piss and vinegar" person around here who gets all crazy when there is a misspelling of a team name.

I think it's a good idea.
It allows for more time for skating, stick handling, positional skills to develop stronger, before you mix in the hitting.

Your thoughts?
Its about time. Up here they just removed all body checking from the game from every level but Rep hockey. Which means kids who gave up the game at 13-15 because they didn't want to get killed playing house league can now continue playing and not have to worry about getting mauled by a goon.

Why this took so long I have no idea.

We are a bit tougher here in the states than you pansy peeps.

We can handle the hits...our kids are made of tougher stuff.

In all seriousness.....I think it is a good idea. Skills >>>> than throwing your body around the rink.

Just because I'm not regularly in this thread doesn't mean I don't watch them. I used to be a season ticket holder before the economy tanked.

The "lightings" played a good game...even though they lost, they sure showed the Bruins what they are made of.

Sitting upstairs and watching a few rounds did him a lot of good. This is not the same guy we saw for 70+ regular season games.

Ben Eager. Bigger douche bag than Sean Avery? Why a Canuck didn't tee off on his head while he was standing over Luongo taunting him, I have no idea. Especially after that hit that was somehow only a 2 minute penalty.
