Put it down in writing.....so long as Terry Murray is coaching the Kings, they will never win a Cup....let alone make it to the Conference Finals.
Well, I believe Vigneault will be canned when the Nucks lose in the Finals. And Bruce Boudreau likely will be looking for new work.

Bruins/Bolts fans should be nervous as hell - we just got rid of the Sharks in 5 games. This is our year.

Dear DIZAZNDOOD320,

Only a would describe one of the most competitive series evar as a 'raping'. If we hadn't lost 3 our top 6 forwards in game 7, pretty sure the outcome would have been different.

"The seven-game battle between the Red Wings and San Jose Sharks made history by becoming the first playoff series to have six of seven games decided by a single goal. It would have been seven, but the Red Wings hit the empty net in Game 6 for a 3-1 victory." ~ nhl.com

Welcome to the playoffs, glorious rapture usually followed by the taste of soul crushing defeat.

Regards, Hockeytown

(as posted in the photography forum)

this was tonight, at the CBC station where Canucks fans gathered to watch the game (if they didn't have tickets at Rogers Arena)

just seconds after the winning goal (2OT)

And honestly, it was not like Vancity was lighting it up through the playoffs...they almost made HISTORY against a gutted Chicago team.

They nearly blew the entire series after a massive lead??!?!

What series were you watching?

The guppies barely made it past a injured Kings team with no offense....having to go to overtime multiple times, and have their goalie pulled on two occasions.

They were lucky to even get to the conference finals.

Okay...fine, that was sorta tongue-in-cheek given how I thought you knew I hated the Wings.

But, when I said that, I meant that the Sharks were up 3-zip and played Detroit pretty darn good until they decided they wanted to do their best Vancouver imitation.

Vancouver blew a 3-0 lead, no...?

And I still don't know if Vancity can win the Cup. I think Boston would match up pretty good against them.

Let's see how it goes. I'm just along for the beer and pizza now at this point.

Fixed.

...and Boston eh?....counting your chickens before they hatch.....

I think the "Lightings" will give Vancouver a tougher time than the Bruins.

Hence why I said "let's see how it goes"...Wow, I need to spell out everything for you, huh? No problem...I will include the fine print like I do for all my legal documents going forward.

Note: Yumcha is not picking an Eastern Conference representative but he believes that Boston seems to look pretty good despite how well Tampa Bay plays. The Lighting (sic) are a decent team with a very unique system that the Vancouver Canucks may find challenging but the problem is that the Lighting (sic) appear to have an identity crisis in the net and that is historically not a good thing in the Stanley Cup playoffs. For more information, please send a PM to Yumcha. He just may care.

Didn't expect the Sharks to fold up so easy, but Lou actually played well and the Sedin sisters actually showed up for a series, who knew?

Well, I'm definitely entertained now at the Boston/Tampa tilt.

Who wins? I dunno...just a toss-up. But, I still think Boston can take the series...

That was a great game to watch last night, series has been enjoyable.

What's funny about "Lightings", the team started using "Bolts" years ago for those that couldn't spell Lightning.

How dare you evoke the bad karma on a Canadian team!

You're going to heck for sure now.

I've been down there for years and I don't count as a Canadian anyhow. GO BOLTS/BRUINS!

As much as I enjoy CBC though, their bias towards the Canucks (and any Canadian team) is often quite amusing.

"MONSTROUS stop by Luongo!"

Then, the other goalie makes a big stop..."Saved by [name]."

Hughson was asked yesterday if he's a Canucks homer. Said no, but its pretty obvious he is. Can he help it? He grew up a Canucks fan.

Definitely a good game, I turned it off when it was 5-3, then saw Boston scored again, close call there. Hopefully the Bolts have another win in them for back in bean town

Even Canada broadcasters know a goalie when they see one....they won't even say Niemi's name?!?!?

Oh, he is clearly biased.

I prefer Bob Cole, personally. Otherwise, the US broadcasts with Doc Emerick are decent too.

I dunno...why not? Your team's droughts and struggles have been well chronicled.

I'd almost say they are the Cubs of hockey...well, lately. At least the Leaves won a title and not one back when there were no TVs.

Well, if it is not about the Oilers/Flames, what is hockey?

Mind you, there are a few Canucks jerseys going around...but, generally, most people here hate the Nucks.
