i'm with you, about a year ago this was my fav site, it really was, not I dont even come here as often, ESPECIALLY on the 2g side. Because I'm seeing a lot of young kids now that our model is lower value and I think a lot of the original guys are left. Another reason i'm switching my car back to stock and just drive it as supposed to it being a hobby.

seems like that liquidflex guy asked for an opinion about his ride and he got one for tacky auto part store mods he have on his car... rest of the mods isn't too bad except custom exhaust tails that could be done better.

guys like this used to get flamed for tacky things but guess its okay or cool thing here in azine now

---------------------------

i'm usually in 240sx forums these days and people there flame even for megan or k-sport coilovers. minimum requirement for non-flame coils are teins...

yea I would like to see it. I used to buy 240sx before the drift scene got big and I remember auto adventure bought a crate of JDM parts and into was 10 sr20dets and they sold my buddy and I 3 of them for 1000, complete with tranny. Not so much now. I'm a big fan of the SCs, so I say go for that but the 240s are so cheap now and you can even find swapped ones for a good deal now.

i love lexus sc's. they are very well built car and still looking sexy. try finding a sc300 with 5spd manual tranny.

i say go for lexus sc being much rare than 240sx. but 240sx is very easy to work on and parts available in the market is abundandant.

it was very easy to find decent 240sx under $1000 back than and the market price jumped all of sudden with all the hype over drifting.. seems like 240sx trend is kinda decreasing now and price of them with good motor (sr/rb/ca) swap can be obtained at reasonable price.

Wow that 3G TL thread was pretty ridiculous. lol at the east coast comment.. "how dare you tell me to move"

This is a similar thread in the 2g CL forum. IMO this is a better example of opinions turning into trolling:

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-cl-tires-wheels-suspension-54/18-gold-og-spokes-762015/ I think page 4 and on are when it really goes bad. Still, kind of strange that people get banned even when the OP doesn't react at all, whatsoever.

What astro said kind of puts things into perspective. Maybe he's automatically inclined to side with the kid who is crapping up his car, since he said he once got a bunch of flak for putting ghost flames on his TL...

Regardless, I've gotten worse crap from these forums than comments like "your car looks like crap" and nothing was really done about it. I guess they just pick and choose who they go after and what for.

Yeah the 2g CL side is really no different. Recent trends in the CL forum have been discussions like changing the backseat in the CL to the bench seat from the TL. Why? So I can screw my girlfriend, duh! No really, that was a serious discussion they all had in there...

Also, plenty of people in there seem to peruse that forum just to remind us all that the 5AT CLs/TLs are defective. Nevermind the group of people who are over 200k miles and still on their original transmission, the CLs are just terrible unless they're 6MT. In fact a slew of people who have never driven a 5AT CL still come in to rub it in our faces that they have the "superior" car, that our cars are garbage, etc.

Kind of ironic how we can't give someone a hard time for putting ridiculous crap on their cars (or else we get banned), but I'm supposed to be okay with having a group come into every thread I make and tell me "lol u shud sell ur car get a better car lolol autofail."

start with a 600 grit to take out the pits.. work your way to the 1500 wet sand
from there go to a ruff polish then to a fine polish then your glass retore polish..

its a long process specially when you get to the polish stages.. good luck and take some before and after pics

Bluecarbonfiber,
Have you tried doing this? I can't tell by your pic. About how long does this take and is it very difficult? I've read a couple other threads about clearing the headlights out and was wondering if there are different ways to go about doing it.

life's been busy but still got few things done to 240sx.
1. tanabe concept G catback has been installed (massive 3" piping)
2. origin red/clear taillights installed
3. interior stripped for dynamatting (actually raamat) and started applying it.

maybe sometime this week, rest of the stuffs will be here and i'll post pics after they are all done

i just realized yesterday that i went little too far on spending...
so after rest of the mods are done, i won't be spending any more money into either of my cars.. just hoping that engine and tranny will last till next year on my 240sx. no sr20 and manual swap this year as i have planned...

here's a sample picture of 240sx's current ride height

its been raised 1" all the way from the max (lowest). need to raise the rears a little more because of exhaust clearance..
