LOL - that's exactly what I did with MY first car - a 1971 Ford Pinto.

His 2004 GP cost me only $5k. Leather interior and decent power, but the size is what I like best. My TL is long, but his GP is longer and a few hundred pounds heavier. It'll keep my boy safe.

So I'm converting my garage into an office since I'll be giving up our third bedroom to the new baby. So I need to get rid of some stuff.

KSport coilovers for 1st gen TSX FREE
! Rear locks are seized up, if you can think of a way to free them up then you have coilovers that are in great functional condition. THEY'RE FREE TO YOU LOCALS! Crap fix em and sell em I am tired of looking at them!

Just pick them up that's all I ask.

So it's legit to start a whole thread called the "WTF car of the day" where folks can post pictures of non-member cars to make fun of:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...w#post11875297

But if you point out the same "flaws" of an azine members car who gets a little upset you get banned? Wow.... Are the mods on this site have special needs?

It's called Ramblings. To get ban from there it's pretty tough, so a lot of stuff there slides. My honest question to you is, just to clear things up here... What made you think after calling someone a faggot for a steering wheel cover wasn't going to get you ban? The mod did his job, so I don't see why this topic is still burning a hole in you. I got ban here after a member called xclusive shit on most of us with personal attacks and threats, all I said was "Sup chubs" because he's a big guy so I got ban for 3 weeks. I knew it was wrong and mods did their job. I as well as 8 others were ban.

Let it go man, it's not worth the hassle. And regarding that picture it's due to the "My wife and my side chick.. TL" thread. We hit over 10,000 viewers for that thread and approx 13,000 on azine as a whole. The servers couldn't keep up the demand. It's worth the read if you get the chance to read up. It's about 105 pages long now but only worth the read up till page 80. after that it got boring.

Happy modding guys,

chris.. what kind of front camber kit did you use for the acura? i was thinking of making mine atleast a 1 finger gap when i lower it and i dont think my fronts can take much more lowering to keep it in spec.

when i lowered my tsx and tl, i didn't get camber kit for the front. and with 1 finger gap, you should be okay for the front. for the rear, i had spc camber kit (both tsx and tl).

oh.. here in azine, ingall camber kits are more popular

I didn't use a front camber kit, just the SBC rear camber with no issues. BTW did you get them all loose?

I didn't have any finger gap

yup got them loose they were pretty rusty not sure if it was cause they were put on in the rain or if they got a mud puddle splashed on them alot..

i will have to replace the locking collars for the height adjustment the are pretty bad now.. i took some stuff after taking it apart and clean up the rust then used some anti seize stuff to make sure they dont get corrosion again.

so what youre saying is a 1.9 to 2 inch drop should be ok for alignment? just as long as i match it with the rear on camber?

Good to hear you got em loose you can get those parts on the ksport site or speed. As long as your toe (I think that's the term) is in spec then your fronts will be fine. A lil negative camber in the front should increase handling anyways. Just get your rears to spec or a bit negative and you shoul be gravy

Umm guess and check? lol I would imagine just adjust them so they are all even, then install and measure fender to ground and make adjustments as needed. 1.75 isn't low enough either

hey any of you guys know what would cause my steering wheel to pulse/vibrate left and right? Car is smooth, doesnt vibrate but my wheel goes pulses but the car still goes fine. I used to get bad vibrations but changed my axles and that solved it, also raised up my car, 4x4 status but now I have steering wheel shake. Driving me nuts, might just take it in to have it looked at.

When my 2G sits for a while, I get some steering wheel shaking for a few miles until the tires are warm. I think it's because of flat-spotting. Is the vibration really bad? Mine is pretty subtle, and only when the car has been sitting for awhile in the garage, in pretty cold weather. No problems when the weather's warm.

well the car is smooth on city driving, you cant tell it has any issues until I hit the freeway and around 60mph-70mph it pulses but the car doesnt shake, just the steering wheel. If It was car shake then it could easily be a bunch of things. But my rotors are pretty crappy, it shakes during breaking, but this is while not breaking.

Statement by Acura Regarding TSX Recall

TORRANCE, Calif., April 29, 2010 – Acura today announced a recall of approximately 167,000 Acura TSX vehicles to replace a power steering hose. Affected TSX vehicles are 2004-2008 models sold in the United States with the 2.4L inline 4-cylinder engine. The repair involves installing a new power steering hose, o-ring gasket and fluid— all done at no cost to the vehicle owner.

The recall is being conducted due to the potential for premature deterioration of the exterior surface of the hose as a result of prolonged exposure to high under-hood temperatures. In the event of excessive deterioration, a crack in the hose could develop, which could allow power steering fluid to leak or spray on a hot exhaust component potentially generating smoke or a fire. Acura has only received notice of one incident resulting in a fire.

Owners of affected vehicles will be informed by mail starting at the end of May. In addition, TSX owners can go to http://owners.acura.com/recalls or may call (800) 382-2238 for more information.

even when your driving if you have warped rotors it can cause the wheel to shimmy because the pads are always in contact with the rotors.

TSX does it at about 70, has since I bought it.
