100 along side traffic doing maybe 30 will do that to ya lol We were able to blast through 3 stop lights before most people got to the first stop light... Ya know, torque pushes you back in the seat, seat belt locks, can't move etc... lol

Honda's have torque?

______

With the end of the TL being a CAI, ive decided to not even think about one for the truck. Especially since i hit puddles with a passion now.
So today i threw in a K&N filter since mine had a good amount of sand in it from the weekend. From what i can tell i picked up a couple MPG's on the highway, and maybe even some more "go" from the loud pedal.

There are no "true" cai that go into a fender or wheel well. They all stay within the engine bay, but have a box that goes around them to block engine heat from getting in. Even those get water in them because when you open the hood of the truck, there is nothing blocking the water from getting into the engine bay.

Yeah I think it's getting better, slowly but surely. In fact I have an interview for a promotion on Monday They've been hiring new people left and right where I work.

Well, maybe not exactly like that. There's been a slew of new hires, but there's plenty of temps here who have been around for almost a year.... But they keep telling us that things are gonna get real heavy a few months from now.... in a good way.

Those new 4 runners are nice for sure. Not to fancy to where they would break your wallet.

If you decide to part out, let me know how much you want for the wheels.

Anyone ever had a rotor delivered to them that had a lug stud hole missing?
Well, happened to me. Only 4 holes for the studs on the right front rotor. Dunno how the hell this happens when that is one of the most important aspects of fitment. You'd think someone would be checking all these stupid things. Man I'm so pissed. The rear of my car looks great since I was able to get them done but the fronts with the stocks look like shit

Jay has dibs if I part out on the wheels. You have those volks! I guess the TLS wheels would be winter wheels?

There needs to be someone that's awake checking packages before orders this fucked up are sent out. Such a pain. Now I'll prob have to wait another week to get a replacement which means that much longer to get this job done. And if they want me pay to have this rotor sent back to them, Ima tell em to go :tonguefaw themselves..LOL

Do you have a drill?

Thats all they will do to the rotor once they get it back.

Yea but I don't wanna do it and damage it. I'd rather have them just send me one that fits and they can do whatever they want to this one.

all you need is a drill press and the matching rotor.. line up the holes (if you could do it i would suggest bolting the open holes together so the dont move) then drill out the 5th hole and be done.. 30 min job tops.. you could take it to a machine shop and have them do it but they will charge you shop rate probably.

hey anybody know any decent cheap shop around here? I need to get my timing belt done, I have the parts, clarks is charging $500 for labor which I think is a pretty good deal but any cheaper would be better. I was gonna sell her but every car I wanted was sold by the time I got there so now i'm just going to change the belt and keep her for another year.
