i guess either way it wont matter.. both are about the same cept 1 will cost alot more =)

2nd.. dont you have a man in your life to do your dirty work? and if not what about family? those are your cheapest routes after that there are your back alley garage people like me i give the tail light warranty HAHA

last i would suggest speed concept atleast you know they wont forget a bolt like midas or some dealerships cause they are over worked
Ya, just wanting to replace the rotors and pads. Nothing too big. Yes, I have a man that actually works on the Acura Type Rs.. Takes them apart and rebuilds. I was trying to find some info for him so when I asked him to replace them it would be easy. He actually has a 2001 Black Acura Type R..all original parts, 81K, pristine shape that he is looking to sell if anyone is interested or knows of someone that may be interested. Ill try to get some pics of it.

I know for the tsx you need a special tool for the piston on the brakes.. its a square looking thing i can take a pic of it when i get home if you need to know what it looks like.. but you need it to screw the piston back instead of the older brakes you could use an old pad and push the piston back with the old school pusher.. anyone who has worked on brakes would know what i am talking about..

I am not sure if its true for the TL's since the only brakes ive seen are kyles which are a big brake kit with multi piston calibers

I got a lot of crap from my co workers because I wasnt dump. I park outside my window and it was a big eye sore. So I know how you feel. Just give them the, "my car looks better then your without it being low" deal, works everytime.

mishimoto rad arrived! looks damn beautiful. not sure if i'll have any time to work on it this month...

2010 legacy is starting to grow on me. design is mix of everything from several car makers and i like'em. side profile is like infiniti G. rear is a mix of lexus GS+bmw 3coupe. front is like G's headlight with 2g tsx's aspec bumper. overall, looks pretty good.

If you guys wanna play the "low" game ive got a spot in my garage to massage your cars to a "proper" height

Then you can use the official "test to see if youre too low" roads of Oregon City. If you can make it on these roads, you can make it on anything...

Speaking of Oregon City, i just rolled around Old Town O.C. looking for some photo shoot locations for this weekend. Saw alot of old style buildings and some train track areas im thinking of...just seeing if anyone here knows any hidden gems.

The subject of this weekends shoot is....

Just as much done inside and under the hood as there is on the outside.

Cant wait.

in the barclay hills if you want a single spot.. there is a nice one with mt hood in the background which would make a great photo on a clear day..

Oh but not as bad as a 99-00 WDP TL sittin on 20s I saw a few days ago. That thing was such a borderline donk that I just laughed and laughed. Can't believe anyone even thinks 20s look good on that car without a drop and possibly a tuck.

ooooooo rly???!?!

Just because I think that basically all STI's before the 08-09 look like riced out donkey sh!t straight from the factory doesn't mean I have bad taste. I don't care if it has 1000hp, its still stupid looking rice.

Clean it up, don't accentuate it.

Well I dont mind a stock STI, the spoiler does have a purpose for once. But yea, I clicked on the link and I would have to admit its a bit riced out, but you have to go to posting 212 like he stats on that site. And its more cleaned up now. I still would go without the red hood pins and red halo. But his motor is money.

:edit:

If thats the way you feel, sign up for a account on Nasioc and tell him. Im not gonna argue over a Subie on a Acura site.

Trust me, if he feels you are right he will change something.
