Lol, im usually out there once or twice a month so i know what your talking about. I once got invited to a "party in the woods" by a bunch of young guys/girls when i drove by the moes in my old rsx. With the tsx not so much but last month had a few guys gawking at my rims while i was sitting in the car watching the sunset with my girl.

I'll def give you some money for the paint/help if you want. I was thinking of paintin some covers in the engine bay, center console moldings...umm...I think there was something else but can't remember right now. Oh lip if you end up givin it to me!

I'll let you know when I spray again, you can just give them to me to paint. It wont be a while because my sister and her fam sold her house and they are using our garbage for storage so I dont have anywhere to spray. But it should be in a month or two. I need to spray my mugen spoiler, its just rattled can and it looks like garbage. If you can wait, I can spray your plastics then. Moldings? what kind of moldings? shouldnt your moldings already painted? I wanted to paint the arm rest trim things but painting interior is borderline ricey. Rice goes on my plate not my car.

I was thinkin of paintin the "wood trim" thing on the center console..kinda how the aspecs have that silver molding instead of that ugly wood crap. I would do the stuff on the doors too but takin them off is a PITA. And I don't think it would be ricey at all. It looks sweet on the aspecs so why not have some SSM inside the car too. The blue stuff on the aspecs tho..that looks rice.

Just lemme know when you're gonna paint so I can prep everything. And I'll help you out when you do it too. I like doin stuff myself and would kinda just like to learn how to spray.

Thanks Pete!!

^^^ meh it's the weekend.

So new plan, picking up new front brake pads, koni yellows (putting my h-techs on em), new tires for the TL-S wheels, putting the stock 06 cat back on to reduce exhaust noise. Car should have a good growl and a very comfortable ride while still looking low and aggressive!

Look for these in the BM if you're interested:
KSport control pro coilovers
RT Cat

How did your exhaust sound with the RT cat? Did the sound it gave take away from the exhaust growl? What's the rest of your exhaust like?

The rest of my exhaust is all comptech, Comptech header and cat back. I haven't driven it with the header stock cat and cat back, I put the cat-back on first, drove it for a while, then put on the cat drove it for a long while, then the header. The cat definitely bumps up the cabin noise and makes your exterior exhaust sound a bit more raspy. The quality of your exhaust note after a high flow cat generally depends on the quality of your exhaust. The lower quality the exhaust the lower quality the sound. It never sounded bad once, just louder

All in all I like the cat it offers a great performance gain and the main reason for selling it is to help pay for tires that I desperately need to keep the car on the road. The bonus is that it gets a little quieter.

To stiff and noisy, I hit small bumps the coils don't even flex so it thumps loud and is just annoying. Spring rates are way to high for a street application. I'm not racing so why do I need racing springs? Koni's will give me an extra 20mm of drop on the spring perch and the h-techs give me about 1.25" in front and about .8" in the back so add on another .8" from the koni's and that's still an aggressive posture and I get my quiet comfy ride back I think it's about 2" down in the front and 1.6 in the back If I need to go lower I'll pick up some s-techs.

i've been away from azine for little more than two days but guess nothing much happened here.

keep the rt cat. go to a muffler shop and weld in some long magnaflow resonators. this way you'll still keep the high flow and somewhat reduce the drone.

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=7956

and you'll love the konis if your not gonna change the ride height often.

If your going to get the koni's, look at getting the neuspeed kit. You can get the koni's and a set of springs for close to the price of buying the koni's seperate. That way you have two sets of springs if the htech is not to your liking. Free shipping if ordered directly off neuspeeds site. I was and still planning on going to the sport springs/koni when the cash flow improves lol (spent 1wk in vegas earlier this month).

I have both just sitting in my garage...gonna be starting up school soon and i dont see this project getting finished anytime soon.

Front bumper is unpainted in perfect condition.
The Lip has two small chips in the bottom of it from shipping, i wasnt worried about it because it was to all be repainted anyways. They might not be visible when mounted, im not sure.

Let me know if anyone is interested and ill get pics, and we can work out a price.

Edit: I also have all the TypeS grill trim available too.
80 bucks for the front lip and i'll take 'em off your hands!!!

you can put any spring on the neuspeed koni's? I was under the assumption that the Koni SP3 had a spring perch specific to the neuspeed springs?

Same perches just more slots for height adjustment on the neukoni's. I also believe they have a shorter piston.

Ha...my price stands at $230 for the lip for now. The chips in it are no bigger than any of my rock chips that i have now so i dont see them as a big price "lowerer" Plus...ill touch them up with a chip stick before selling.

should tell your neighbor she owes it to you for the amount of times she's hit your car!

the subie pics are hot Kyle, kinda cool that the dark and light combo somewhat captures the feel of the NW climate, you know sun with clouds and what not.
